Okay, here's the plan... We start in Eugene, OR... Everyone meet eachother, then Head for Florence, OR using HWY 126, From there we Head up to Seaside, OR using HWY 101... Once we hit Seaside, I have a "Secret Location" where we should be able to do some burnouts, 2 mi straight stretch for speed, and a nice sized Turn Around and Parking Lot where we could do a photo shoot of All the Cars... Here's a map.

cool,i just put a few posts on a few forums and told them to come here to sign up for it,i have 3 cameras 1 strapped to my rear deck lid in my car and the gl2 is handheld and the other camera is basically a back-up, my digicam sucks batteries way too fast,ill probably buy a converter in case any batteries go dead along the way.

i highly recommend planning every single route and highway and freeway through out the rally so you know what your doing if you might get lost, a few months ago i was wathcing this rally thing on mtv i think it was and nobody knew how to read a map and they didnt plan it ahead of time so they got lost quite a bit and they had a horrible time,so hopefully everyone will have a fun and enjoyable time!!!!!

So far I have the map on the first part of the Thread, We'll begin in Eugene, go on hwy 126 to Florence, and go up hwy 101 to Seaside, pretty easy route... So far I have a 40 channel CB in my truck if I have to take it, and an extra 40 ch CB for the car... I've got the Bearcat Scanner and I'll get all the frequencies for the counties along the way. I'm gonna see if my friends in Seaside can dump some powder or something for a finish line or we'll just call the Safeway along 101 the finish line... Maybe Tom can put some signs there and maybe since he works for Safeway, the can do something on their big sign... Hopefully I'll have the Studebaker for this rally... and we can start other rallies around the North west after this... Get Teckademics known around this side of the country... I'm looking for a place to have the start/meeting spot in Eugene... Anyway, I'll keep everyone posted!

Personally I wouldn't have rally on the stickers...cause its really not...its more of a meet and a cruise. So I would just have stickers that say Northwest Teck or something of that nature....thats just my 2 cents though.

i have motorola 2-way walkies but one side of the charger doesnt work. i also have a scanner,radar detector and i plan on getting a CB radio but im not sure at this point, deffinatly some sort of decal showin what we do and what we are doing.

im glad to see that were slowly increaseing the interest,last night i went t oa off beat car show at the local burgerville and spread the word about the coastal run,hopefully well see a few classic cars running, there were also a few ferrari's and a few other top end imports that might join in,i suggest that everyone doing this run try to make an effort to promote this thing which includes flyers and a dedicated website to this coastal run,i might work on a website for this but ill need to figure some design ideas and maybe talk more with capwell,ill try in work on it in the next week and post the web link :read:

I duno what u guys wanna officially call the run, but maybe chose something, i can register it if u guys want. If we get a webserver it will make everything look much more professional and more people will want to join. So im gonna b working on getting us one of those. Oh and overall i think the site is pretty good, nice design.

i hate when that happens,i usually buy cars from auctions,my last car b4 my eclipse was a 95 acura with the vtec which was all riced out with a custom blue paintjob and c/f hood with turbocharged motor for 5g then i turned out and sold it for 15,000 so i made a 10g profit,i flip cars when i can theres good money to be made doing it, so far ive made about 60g flipping cars and i plan on buying property in washington then selling my eclipse and buying a wrx sti for a daily driver and continue flipping cars :thumb:

i dont know if ill be able to take my car b/c its having some problems with the ecu and possible piston ring issues, havent been able to do a compression test b/c of my crap sparkplugwires its either my eclipse or my shitty focus and trust me the focus is on the bottom of my list of choice vehicle to run on the rally, so hopefully i can get these things cleared up in time :banghead:

so far we got quite a few hits on the website, there was 64hits b4 i put the hit counter on so thats 102hits in the last 2 weeks so were doing pretty good,more advertisement will help any ideas are welcome,if you can tape the flyer to your car window so its visible that might help.

still need to update the website with the new pictures,i put a post on here about those flip boards that have like 10pages or something that say random things like "pick a fucking lane" etc; if you know what these are and know a website please hook it up!!!
