Olds 442 vs. Porsche 944T

This happened about 2 years ago... I was coming home to Salem from Dallas on Hwy 22, and I had this little Porsche that kept coming up to my door and falling back. I was starting to get irratated seeings we had just passed a Polk County Sheriff and I didn't really want a ticket... Finally I slammed it in to 2nd gear at about 65mph, and pegged the speedo for about 2 seconds, and shifted in to drive(3rd), I looked back and he was about a car length behind me, so I opened the old 4 barrell Carb all the way, in about 6 seconds he was about 100 yards back and fading away... My friend was holding on for dear life! I could feel the car trying to lift off the ground... It was fun... Waaaaay back down the hwy I could see these little red and blue flashes... I only saw them for about 2 seconds though... :cop: :fawkdance

Yeah, I hope to be able to make it to the West Coast Meet... I've gotta get my hands on a new Tranny for it though... When I got charged with Reckless Driving they estimated 140+... It's been down for like 10 months with a blown tranny... I'll probably have to bring the Blazer or my Studebaker when I get it and do the eng swap...
