I'm sporting my 3rd XM unit. I'm using the Alpine tuner along with my in-dash 7" Alpine IVA-D900.

I can't live without XM!!!!

And for the record, in case you have been out of the loop, XM now has 100% commercial free music channels. :)

i don't even have radio in my ride, when i hooked up the new head unit i didn't want to buy that little antenna adapter thingy so i rippped the antenna off and now just have CD, got my alpine pumpin da beats into my 2 3.5" dash speakers and that's all.

I have a Pioneer 7500MP with my Delphi XM reciever.. I didn't want to have to pay for 2 radios, so I just got the delphi instead of getting the pioneer xm hide-away reciever.

For your SLK or X5, get the XM Roady ($130) and then get an FM modulator or tape adaptor. IF u need the fm modulator, I'll try to hook u up w/ one from work. I'll talk to you about it all later when u call to wake me up :P

fm modulation sucks ;)

ive had xm now for over 2 years, its absolutly wonderful, i cant go back to fm. iam running a pioneer 6400 with the decated tuner, sure i cant take it out but thats the price you pay for being one of the 1st and wanting to stay away from fm modulation

I really wanted that unit.. And I might end up getting it so I can give the Delphi to my wife when we get her new car.
