View Full Version : Rainy Days
I hate rainy days, they make me so tired and I never wanted to do anything. I was going to go apply for a job today, but the rain makes me want to stay inside and sleep.

I like them if I have nothing to do! Staying inside on a nice day is pointless, but during a thunderstorm or something, I love it!! As long as the power stays on!
It's perfect outside here, but I'm so fucking beat Im just sitting around watching TV :p

You would never survive in FLA between June and October!
It rains every afternoon at 3. So much for the detailing every
saturday until November.

I prefer it if it rains at night. I sleep alot better that way.
Plus I dont have to deal with all the idiots in FL who dont
know how to drive when there is a little water on the road.

Raining is fine with me until the storm drains outside of my house start to clog. Then all hell breaks loose with me trying to keep my house from flooding.

Our power hardly ever gets knocked out more than a few minutes... But I have a 3 hour UPS in my room, and a 5 hour UPS in my comp lab... The 3 hour one lasts about two hours with whats plugged in, and depending on what's running the 5 hour one lasts 1-3 hours... So I always have power to something, and if all else fails, I can use a mastering system and run my generator outside and power half my house...

I myself have a love for rainy days. I know they can put a damper on the mood if you have things planed. But have you ever set outside when the storm is going on, what an amazing occurence. If you havent do it. Sometimes you can actually feel the different moods of nature. The wind brushing against you face like the first kiss that you ever had. What a sight to behold. The beauty of the universe and all it's essence. To feel internally, and not externally is what makes us human. The human spirit so complicated sometimes. The fact that we share a love for things only shows how were connected in every form. Have you ever been with someone, and you notice that your heart beats along on the same pattern. That's true love. What a joy to behold. To hold someone with the fact that all that matters is you and that person at that time is trully blissful in all reality. Rain only signifies the amazement that can happen in this world. Which each drop see it as a form of feeling. Be happy that it happens without it how would the earth survive?
Hey, I know that's to deep for yall, but I'm feeling poetic right now.

If thatt happens again, I will personally take I-95 North straight to
your house. Only if you break out your new "cooling system"

Raining here too now. 5:30 am...work in 2 hours. Good thing; might get day off from work. Bad thing; less money on paycheck. Other then that, I love rainy days as long as I can stay inside.

Rain is usually a good thing, especially in the middle of a hot summer. However, the month of May is usually the worst for tornados so it can get kind of scary here.
