I got my first ticket today doing 49 in a 35 (School Zone), which is bullshit. I was at the end of the school zone when I started to accelerate, and the punk ass cop picked me up after I passed him on the opposing side. I was about to run, but it's broad daylight, and there was to much damn traffic to move. Plus my town isn't but so damn big. I've been driving for 6 years now, and never had a ticket. This shit sucks. You have to pay off a ticket for 3 years. I'm going to see if I can't get out of it. Now I have no mod's to my 280zx, but after this shit, i'm going to MOD the hell out of it, and give these pigs something to really chase.

It's a school zone!! The cops are always anal in school zones this time of year to get ppl to slow down passing thru them since school is back in session. Sorry ya got pulled man. At least u didn't get some stupid exhaust violation or whatnot.

i got pulled over on the highway one night at like 3am and the cop gave me a fix-it ticket for my reverse lights not working, i didn't argue with him cuz i was on a suspended lisence and he didn't say anything. i just went to the pig station the next day and had the ticket cleared.

Yeah I know that, but you should've seen the face he was making while he was behind me. The faget was smiling. That really pissed me off (and everyone knows on here How I love to get pissed off). I almost got arrested today, cause I asked him if I could see the radar (mine you I had mine on and it didn't go off) , first thing out of his mouth is "son, I'm not prejudice". I said "What does that have to do with my question". That shit really got me going, like he prepared that dumbass remark. I wanted to grab him by the neck and speed off with his head in my window doing 130mph down the highway until he told me why he really pulled me. Did you ever have that vain pumping in the front of your head, that's how I am now.

That sucks. Only positive thing is that it could have been worse. Anyway, hope you'll find a way out of it. Is it hard getting out of tickets over there when it is your first? Here in Norway I think you get away with a warning a lot unless its really high speed.

It's different in the US, it's STATE law if they do or not...

In CANADA, we're privledged, federal law STATES that they are required to show it to you if you ask... They always setup laser traps here in Calgary, and I've gotten stopped about 20 times by them, they begin shooting another 5 cars by the time I ask to see my speed, and there is no memory log of it...

I've had fifteen officers suspended for denying me my right to view the locked in speed.

I think there's an alert on my drivers license that says "Carries Highway Traffic Act and codes of Conduct" because it's true, I do... I get out of about 95% of the tickets that I would get... It's amusing, I think I have a rep with the entire calgary PD now, lol

Yeah I got pulled over for that last night. I was screaming up this hill and theres a stop sign at the top. I go to pull out and theres a cop coming down a side road. So he pulls out behind me and follows me for like 1/4 mile then stops me. I only got a warning but all he would tell me is he stopped me for the muffler. So I ask him whats wrong with it and he tells me its illegal to have any "beehive" mufflers on your car. He told me I couldn't even put a silencer in it. And that if he gave me a ticket it would be mandatory court. Cops fucking blow. I wish I had my "Cops love me" shirt on.

There is a school zone in my neighborhood. The cops are TERRIFYING. They will be stopped on the side of the road, then get out and stand behind their doors,and lean on the tops of them with their radar guns aimed at your car, its the MOST unnerving feeling I have ever felt. And since I usually have to make a left across 4 lanes of traffic with no light IN the school zone, it doesnt work well....cause at night I'll usually rip up my tires tryna get across that beast....so it takes me like 5 minutes to get across during the day, lol :)


Sucks though....I got my first and only speeding ticket in 2001, 73 in a 55. Pleaded not guilty cause I wasnt speeding, I saw the guy who the cop was going after but saw my poor yellow Cougar and went after me instead (meanwhile, I was stopped in traffic and had been for the past 30 minutes). When I got to the courthouse to fight it, I didnt feel like sitting around so I went to the counter, paid my $90 and was on my way, lol :)

no license, 15 and i was cought driving with out a license, had a ton of charges on me and i got out of them all except one count of driving with out a license. i left with a 107 dollar fine and 4 hr safety class. long story of how it happened though.

you think that 49 in a school zone is crazy, i was in the car with 2 of my friends, another one was driving, and we were going 145. we FLEW past my school and when we did, my V1 went absolutely crazy. we saw a cop comming towards us. we ran. got away. didnt try that again (for a few days) 4 days later i was driving and going about 135 and flew past my school with the little 20mph lights flashing for school zone, radar detector goes crazy again. again the cop was comming from the other direction. i kept on it and didnt slow down, mind you i was on a straight road. got away. i didnt drive anymore for the next 2 weeks or so.

something else........... my cousin was going about 80 past a country club, he saw a cop right infront of him and he hit the breaks, clocked 65 in a 35. the cop came up to his window and before he could say anything my cousin said " look officer, if you can please follow me to my house, you can give me a ticket for anything you want, my house is just up the hill, i have diareaha, please officer just let me run home, follow me if you want" the cop was so surprised and he just looked at my cousin and said "get the fuck out of here" cousin got away with no ticket or anything. try it some time it might work

By the way, I got out of the ticket. $350. $200 for Lawyer, and $150 for the court fee. That shit sucks, but at least my driving record is clear.

If you drive in a 60km/h zone, and you get caught doing between 61km/h and 65km/t you get a 72$ fine. And if you drive 86km/h in a 60 zone you get a 725$ fine and you lose your lisence.

If you drive in a 70km/h zone and you're doing 106km/h+ you get a 870$ fine and you lose your lisence:)

So it kinda sucks to speed in Norway:(
