R32 vs. Modded GTP Supercharged

I seem to be the one with all the luck with racing here. :D On my way home from school today, there was a black Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Supercharged behind me. I've seen the car before and he's got a few mods (Intake, exhaust, ignition, and maybe a pulley). Rolling from 45mph, I shifted into 2nd and floored it as he gunned it to pass me. Even through second but once I hit third I started to pull away.

This weekend I'm slated to race a modded Mustang GT and maybe another SRT-4. :D

:lol: so very true. I tried to get some cars to run tonight, but no luck. I debadged my car and tell everyone, "it's just a normal Golf." :D

nice kill, stock ones aren't all that impressive, but modded ones are pretty nice, good luck w/ rustang and the cert

Yeah ur lucky. There's a decent amount of modded cars in the 'burgh, but i guess i'm never in the right place at the right time.......Nice kills man.

Raced a stage 1 SRT-4 from a stop and put about a car length on him. It was all good until the cops came and busted everyone, but I got away.

Mehh it's not where I want it yet...according to my tuner it should be low-mid 12's after my tune in a couple of weeks...

I must say though I've always had a soft spot for GTI's/R32's...I contemplated getting one before the STi, sick little cars.

ya people in my area think all vw hatches are diesel and only good for gas economy....bunch of retards.......we have alot of rice here....everyone thinks my car is a r32....... me and another vw friend are going one parking lot at a time beating each ricer club in 2 gti's

anyway, good to see a different make owner in to other cars and respects them....i/we dont get that around here....seems like the vw's have to prove it to everyone....oh well....its fun though ;) even when they say whoa! that thing is turbo'd? with no BOV??whats a diverter valve?! lol ohhh man i love my gti.....

Weird thing is now that mine is debadged no one knows what it is. They think it's a standard Golf or GTI which is why I get a lot of SRT-4s and stuff hitting me up. I think they realize what they are in for when I bring it up to 5k for the launch. :D

i like vw's, except the bug, can't stand that thing.
