Anyone notice the new banner (or i just noticed it) on the teckeast homepage about Hyper-Fest 2005 taking place July 16th? I know it's kind of far from now but I was wondering what kind of turnout this got last year? It says $20 includes camping so i assume this goes into the night?

It was a good turnout last year. I definitely recommend going. I drive down from Philly every year

Nah I didn't camp out. I actually didn't know there was camping this year. Hmm.

On another note, when I was at Formula D I picked up a Hyper-fest quadcard and it had Teckademics and Teckademics East all over it. I don't have it anymore though because I put it in Ania's (Vanilla Condoms) bag and she still has it :(

the first hyper fest at summit was a 2 day event but some jackasses put the tire walls all over the track and we had to clean it up so the next2 years it was one day only and i think they will be doing 2 days and bring the burnout comp back this year too...i have been to all so far at hyper fest and last year took the cake it was packed and was a blast plan on working it again next year EV crew i save the one that wreck....:D

Last year was my first year at HyperFest and I was Blown Away by how good it was! Its like a themepark for car nuts! The crowd last year was insaine too, and I can only imaging it'll be bigger this year!

If you go to the Summit Point site, they have a track called Summit Point Curcuit. That is the one they use for this event.

It will be on the summit track ...... as far as i know the were letter drifters practice on the jefferson the year i worked and last year that i saw but since they opened the 2 new track i dont know? i will have to make some calls and find out for you..

Last year Jefferson was for " drift School" Summit is for comp, I havent heard about if the new track will be used.

I camped there last year, and there were plently of kegs, its a crazy party all night, dont plan on sleeping and dont bring anything that you would mind if it get cought on fire.

Now that my car is mostly fixed and I now have a Nismo 2 way lsd installed, I may be attending this show! Not sure if Ill drift, I am building a second 240 for drift only, Im sick of repairing my car ahah! Although I might take it out and see what I can break again, Ill be able to do alot better with the lsd, I just looked like an ass tryin to drift on my open end in pittsburgh! Anyways, hope to see ya all out there!
