The game is basically a virtual Mischief.
It stars the crew and the cars will be mocked up.
The game is a rally model with challanges.
Radar/scanner will be in cars, plus a co-driver filmer that captures your trip. You will have to watch out for cops, people, cars and traps.
Upgrades and fix it shop visits will be included.
Please give us your comments.

I will say what I said in the other post on DTM. Make sure the game is stable, bug-free, and has good controls before its released. If this means pushing the release date back, push it back. Do not compromise the game so that you can grab the holiday bucks, b/c in the long run you may decrease the profit potential for this game by committing such an action. I want to see this game become a PS2 Greatest Hit/XBOX Platinum Hit (1 million copies sold). Compromised games don't reach such a height.

While Activision is credited for publishing Doom 3, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Interstate '76, all and more considered highly quality games by reviewers; Activision has also had a few black eyes. The first one that jumps off the top of my head is the The Fifth Element video game. I can research the games they did poorly on if somebody just has to have the info, but I think my point has been made.

Well, in some parts of the movies yall stopped off at a track or two to race or goof off. Maybe little side missions like that would be cool. Race against others on a track once or twice, as well as the street! I actually think it would be hell fun.

This game ca not be a simple 10 hour game...that is way to short. Like tony hawk underground was way to short. This game should be at lease a 16 hour game. Make it feel as if you are actually going cross country, make it lengthy.

nice i think we should take alot of time to make sure we get everything right on this, make sure the graphics dont look like nothing from playstation one. because ive seen some shitty games that look like they were made by teenagers, not saying it's a bad thing for teens making a game , but the graphics look trashy and choopy , i dont want it to end up like playstation2's hooters game. im not sure if many of you say it, but it looked like trash. also .. what is all going into this game , i know the roads need to look freash not like they did on NFSUG they looked wet the intire time. the cars need to look some what like test drive , game physic shouldnt be sluggish , but handle like Gran Turismo . weather needs to be realistic like Grand theft auto. and i think the game should have a roll playing type of feeling , and i think we should play as eather dustin or daodo , or play as an unknow driver. sorda like driver. just my opinion.

I know it may sound stupid/boring, but to actually have to fill gas. I mean, about every car game out there dont have it. Except for those nascar games and such. Might not sound fun, just something Id love to see in a game for once :wink: And please try to get some "sim"-feeling in there. Dont make it too arcadish.

Maybe some songs that were on the Mischief DVDs...like the Ben Ko tracks, or some of Vertigo's tracks from Invasion. And as an example of what people have been saying, Driver 3 just came out and it would have been MUCH better if the developers had taken their time. Keep the game in development for as long as you need.
I think I mentioned this back on DTM, but a nice area for top speed runs would be awesome. Most games have tracks and obstacles that have no real area to just fly through all the gears and hit top speed. The game sounds as if it'll take place on highways, so that should be cool. One last thing that would really work imo: the cops should be intelligent, not like the cops in the Driver series that will just keep bashing your car into pulp.

can't wait for this game to come out, i'll be pre-ordering it as soon as pre-ordering is possible :D

a good sound track always keeps my mind at bay when im playing games.. driver three the sound track sucks so i dont really like playing it.. there nothing more then driving across the country with a bad ass soundtrack.

My favorite PC driving game of all time has got to be NFS3: Hot Pursuit. Hot pursuit mode rocked. You could hear the cop's radio (though it was basically the same thing over and over) and had a kind of detector that told you when cops were approaching or gaining on you.

It was mentioned on the original thread, but a simulated V1 and police scanners would heighten the realism. I believe the cops should be real, but no infallible. Cops can crash too, ya know? Say you're holding your speed at 180, maybe the cops could radio ahead an inaccurate position (as in 3000 with the RUF driver).

there should be traffic accident also , make your trip harder not just cops and shit but emergency vehicles. train crossings , umm objects in the road, flat tires, running out of gas , umm .. engine over heating.. it should be realistic as possible..

There must also be stops to buy more film when the cameraguy runs out! It would be cool to have just like a "free rally" mode where you drive however you want, then an "(un)timed rally" in which competitors try to reach the next destination first and gain points/advantages for finishing that leg quickly.

Basically what everyone's saying is, We want to be able to control the people in the Mischief DVDs... lol, Just put as much realism as possible. With good music, great graphics/layout. Also.... MUST eventually come out on PS2 or (PS3 when it comes out). That pretty much sums it up from my perspective. Kinda like putting Vice City, Midnight Club, GT4, Driver, NFSUG 2, Street Racing Syndicate, all in a blender with a splash of Bicardi 151 and chugging it....mmmmmmmmmmmm goodness :D

for the game, i think an offroading section or 2.. make it like san francisco rush, where you drive through streets sometimes, with people walking around...

i wouldnt like to see "missions" in the game, like you have to drive here then there... make it more racing, driving, cruzzzzzing

Massive online play is a must 50 or so people racing from NY to Miami just as the High Rollers thing.

But first the realism is whats key. Is Activision going to make a new engine for the game with real time physics, such as the Gran Turismo Series and make it more of a real time game (which would be amazingly real and would blow every other street racing I mean rallying game out of the water), or will Activision reproduce the engine from the Burnout series making the game an arcade style game where points are added for causing wrecks.

Really all I'm saying is to talk to Activision and ask them what the plan for the physics in the game are if the game is to have the acrade-style handling where you can go through a sharp 90 degree turn at 70mph and the car be perfectly fine, which in real-life the car would have spun out. But rather have the physics of the Gran Turimo series and have to slow down at turns.

Also stages, or legs, of races I mean Rallies must I mean must be long, not little 3-5 minute hops but 10-15 mins or longer per leg and after each leg there might be repairs to you car, such as Dados First M3 where the under part of the front bumper was loose and he had to rip it off on the back road. Little things like this are a must to make this game as realistic as possible.

-Stock Fords or Chevys
-Simple Modified Honda S2000s older E36 BMWs and older MBs
-High End cars Porsche GT2s GT3s MB E class S class BMW new M5s M3s E46s
-Highly modified R32s R33s R34s NSXs Supras
-Exotic Lambroginias Ferraris Bentlys Limos Porsche Carrera GT
- The list is endless but those are the main cars I would include.

Plot-
Ok your a new Film person from Teck, for upcoming movies, and you were recruited by Dado or Dustin you must first go to the street races on the East Coast, Phillie D.C. NYC, where you have a STOCK CAR and by getting good shots of the races you get money to enhance your cars performance or you can save for a better car, but at the races some get busted and if you can escape and film a good escape you get paid double that weeks pay, but if you get busted you go to jail and you lose that weeks pay. After acouple of races you are invited to the West coast to film there a bit more expensive yet more pay. You still go to the street races, but you can now go to drift events and illegal drifting at shipyards and warehouses, now you get 50% more pay for filming these, and you can now buy SIMPLE MODIFIED CARS. Soon you are noticed by Sean and your new assignment is to attend local and national shows only on the East Coast, now you can buy HIGH END CARS. After awhile you are asked to go back to the West Coast and attend IAS in LA. After that its SEMA in Las Vegas, Now you can buy HIGHLY MODIFIED Cars. But after all of that you are finally asked to go to the Cannonball Run and be the driver for Dustin because Dado Is hurt or sick or something. So by that point either your car is so sick you just take it or you have so much money you decide to buy a new car, and at this point you can purchase up to the EXOTICS. And this keeps going at the National level where you run from Cops state to state and warrants and stuff you hide in water run-offs and you get paid for each rally you attend!

Ok i got some ideas for it. Through the rally you stop at places...such as hyperfest on your way through summit point. Or when u goto las vegas you go out and see or compete in the street races. Put up cash and even cars. Another thing that would be awesome is to be able to switch characters whenever u want to in the game. Say your playing dado in the Bmw, with a push of a button u can switch to rob in the posrche gt2. Cant wait to play it guys

you may also want to add a GPS system to the cars so you could take different routes for the longer races. the may also be useful when outrunning cops so you could turn off the highway so you dont just half to drive in a strail line...

It would have to be a free roaming country, almost as big as GTA San Andreas to do what is necessary to make this game as awesome as it should be. Plus the driver needs to be able to get out of the car, go inside gas stations, hotels, and what not. Is the game still a go??

Sounds like it's got some really cool features.

Honestly though, the actual physics engine and driving dynamics are going to make or break it. Arcade-ish driving games always seem to end up as passing fads, while good, solid, simulation-like physics define the genre leaders (i.e. Gran Turismo, Project Gotham). If you strip all the Teck licensing and wacky Mischief rally features away, it should still be a fun driving game, fun to control, etc...

Nothing but time, relentless testing, and the willingness to keep pushing the release date back until it's really damned good and ready will guarantee good driving physics.

I don't want to sound like I have any lack of faith though, just saying what's important to me when it comes to these things. I have no doubt that Teck will put together a really, really good product. Teck is successful purely because of really, really good products, and I don't see any reason why you guys would start slouching now. Lemme know when I can put my preorder down.

-you need real rallies real cars and of course real places have it like you need to enter and win so many rally races to get into magazines
-or to film so much to make a dvd you need a car list like gt4 and parts to hook up the car before and inbetween the rally races
-have movie action at some points to keep the gamer playing
-the soundtrack is a must (my personal fav is mischief 3000)
-have the story you have to put out so many dvd's and you have to do rally races snow car show events

Game news.
Vader, Dustin and Dado are all in the game
Cars, Dado's M3 ,Dans car ,Teh Barge, we have a yellow car for the bannana as well and others

The game starts out with Vader saying, "So you wanna join the Teckademics Team? Well you have to beat me first!"

Then you race and if you win Vader gives up a part upgrade and you move up the ladder. Once you beat all the many levels then you join the team. Lot's of upgrades , hidden cars, races etc...

It's addicting I have a playable version.

Vader, Dustin and Dado are all in the game
Cars, Dado's M3 ,Dans car ,Teh Barge, we have a yellow car for the bannana as well and others

The game starts out with Vader saying, "So you wanna join the Teckademics Team? Well you have to beat me first!"

Then you race and if you win Vader gives up a part upgrade and you move up the ladder. Once you beat all the many levels then you join the team. Lot's of upgrades , hidden cars, races etc...

It's addicting I have a playable version.

It's a mobile phone game so it has it's limitations. To make it fun we made the main car you drive the yellow M3. (As seen below)

On the gauges, have an oil pressure and let loose pressure as the engine burns up the oil on the runs.

Cross country runs would be a good one too.
