we just got in in at my dealer, the car is gonna be 100K even. its silver, drop top, 9K miles. im located in Maryland. I know the owner of my dealer (family friend) so im trying to help him out and move this car, the closest one that i found was going for 106K so this is a pretty damn good deal. if you guys know anyone even remotely interested i would really love the help. PM me or email me with any questions or comments. egwin@winkelly.com is my email. thanks guys

Eric

lets not have another thread where the same 20 people say they "want the car but but don't have the money" we all know you can't afford the car, you don't need to tell us every time someone trys to sell a high end car.

Not exactly my point.. if I wanted to buy the car, I'd take out an equity loan and buy it.. not exactly my plan at the moment, so I'll refrain from doing that.. but I'm just saying that at 100K, it's not a great deal for a 2 year old USED mercedes.. talk to a dealer and find out how much $$ he's making on that deal.. I'll bet you it's quite a bit.

its at the dealer ship that i work at and i can tell you how much we got it for, 97k. all the other ones in my are are selling for 100 and up so its fair market value.

eh some people dont shop that way, if there was a serious buyer that came in and looked at the car im sure price could be talked

market value on that car isn't 97k though, that's the thing.. maybe DEALERSHIPS can sell it for that much, but a two year old car, no matter how few miles on it, is already losing a bit of value, ESPECIALLY if it's bought by the dealer. 100k might be a good price for the car on the street here in the Dc metro area, but 100k in the circle of people in the 'know' isnt, that's all im saying.

hey post this over on MBworld... you might have more of a market there... Not to say that Teck isnt the place to sell a SL55 but you might have a bigger market over there
