I am a long time fan. I think their best album overall is Toxicity but all of their previous cd's are awesome.

I just listened to the whole new CD "Mesmerize" thats coming out on the 17th. Let me say if you like System Of A Down, you gotta pick this CD up. Besides "BYOB", some other good songs on the CD are "This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like Im In The Song", "Revenga", "Old School Hollywood" and my fav song on the whole CD "Violent Pornography".

This kinda music is a big difference for me cause i like Jadakiss, Mobb Deep stuff like that, but the drummer in this band is sick

Yeah The First Time I Heard BYOB I Loved It, I Wasnt A Big Fan Of SOAD In The Begining (toxicity) But With The New CD It Sounds As If They Have Come Up Big. Good Stuff

SOAD is IMO the best metal band around. I also already have Mezmerize, and its a great album. I kinda wish they wouldn't have let Daron start to sing... I don't like his voice at all. They need to stick with Serj.

Yeah the album is good, but I liked Toxicity alot better. I think the guitar riffs are alot more "catchier" though on the new album.

they ruin some of their songs... thier new song BYOB would be sooo much better if they didnt scream through it. the chorus is awsome, has such a good melody and flows so well but then they start screaming again you gotta lower the speakers lol... but over all i think theyre an awsome band

I agree with you there...The first time i heard BYOB, i was like WTF, this shit sucks..Then that chorus kicked in and i was like yeahhh this shit is hot, then it went back to the screaming again. Awesome lyrics to the song, if they kept that beat they had going for the chorus throughout the whole song, IMO it would prob be better. But i guess thats what System Of A Down is known for

i dunno for some reason BYOB is growin on me and i really like it now... but i still feel it would be better with the flow of the chorus though. but like joey said, its system of a down there known for that. good song though.

IMO Serj is the best lyricist out of anyone since Jim Morrison... unfortunately, this new ablum does not display his talents nearly as much as SOAD's previous albums.
