haha thanks man... not only am I going to HIN but im hoping my ML is out of the body shop in time for me to get it into the show... from the outside its stock but inside is pretty iced out. And Im hopin a shop in the area lets me borrow some 22's for me to slap on there...

We're the only members from Mass (that I know of). Nobody has a clue as to what or who Teck is where I live.

Teck had a booth at the show last year and I walked right by and didn't notice......I was so pissed.

nobody cares about boston except for bostonians, lol. I dont like how there arent too many automotive events around here... Anyone know if that drifting event is gonna try and happen at gillette stadium this year? I think that would be hella cool

I heard the event at Gillette got shutdown (or didn't it?), I'm working with U.S. Drift to get a New England Chapter going, everything is set, I just gotta come up with some more cash to get things going, the events will be held at NHIS (New Hampshire International Speedway) in their parking lots, and we'll go from there. And you're absolutely right, we definately need more automotive events around here, it's too dead.

the event didnt get shutdown...it was raining and I though postponed... well its almost a year later and still nothing!!!... Im co-oping(internship) at the stadium now and was really hoping they were gonna do that again this year.

As far as money why dont you contact some shops in the area, Im sure they would all love to have a piece of that pie if they could all get in on it to show they truely support the scene in this area... Where in Mass you from... I am from west of boston about 13miles outside of the city, I go to NU

I'm from Fitchburg, The thing I heard about Gillette was the stadium ended up getting thousands of phone calls about the event and I guess alot of the people allowing the event to take place got worried that everybody was going to get hurt and whatnot, maybe it's just a rumor. I never even thought about contacting any shops lol, good idea.

I dont plan on staying over night this time but I have stayed up there in the past. I suggest searching Yahoo for hotels, thats where I found mine before.

there is one right outside the expo center... call the bayside expo center and see if you can get someone to tell you what the hotel is... I think maybe a sheraton?
