hey everyone,

My name is Craig, i work for Xtreme MotorsportZ and i'm the person organizing this weekend event. i saw several people asking about hotels, if we can get everyone together in the same hotel i can get a killer rate and if we have enough people, i could get a whole floor reserved. there are several hotels available in the area because our shop is 10 min from the Pittsburgh International Airport. i talked to Dustin and he prefers a cheaper hotel so i was figuring on the Super8 ten min away. the hotel is also a short 20 min drive from the city and the party/club district. if i can get a commitment from enough people to be here for the weekend i have a chance to get a room at "Club Level" on the river. its a really nice club.

Bikes are welcome at this event, our shop has a motorcycle dyno as well as the car dyno. a local group of stunt riders will be showing off throught the weekend.

the basic info on the weekend is this.....

may 13-15

Friday:
-private dyno runs for Teckademics crew members ONLY and filming @ XMZ
till appx 6pm, spectators welcome
-night life in PGH till appx 8pm-2am, OVER 21 ONLY

Saturday:
-at Beaver run motorsports complex appx 10am-5:00pm (get fast and get
sideways), spectators welcome but track time is for Teckademics crew
members and select cars ONLY!
-at zelie airport for flashlight drags appx 5:30-9:00pm (go fast, go
straight) entry fee $25.00, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
-night life in PGH till appx 2am, OVER 21 ONLY

Sunday:
-car show @ XMZ from 10-4pm (filming, sign autographs )
-car show entry fee $5.00, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!

as for friday and sat, i'm not advertizing thoes two days, people can come
and watch if they want but i dont want people bothering the film crew.
i have invited a few select cars from around town to join us at the track,
i'm thinking about 20 cars should be good for filming. sunday is open to the public.

the local monthly TV show called "Street Heaters" will also be covering the
event and i'm working on "hot rod news" and a few other publications.

there are NO RAIN DATES! so PRAY for great weather!!!

This is a nice hotel. It has an indoor pool, high-speed internet and most importantly, good parking! The Corp sales manager told me that once i have an accurate count of vehicles comming, they will reserve parking for us, away from other guests. The parking lot is visable from the rooms and everyone will be on the same floor. The lot surface is smooth asphalt and the entrance is compatable with low-clearance cars and NO SPEED BUMPS! we have arranged for our good friends, the local police, to patrol the lot after dark for security. Both rooms types: 1 queen bed or 2 dbl beds, are available for reservation as well as roll-a-way beds and cribs for thoes with youngsters. If anyone comming from far away wants to stay into the 16th and drive home monday, just let the hotel know when u make your reservation. more spicific info on the hotel is on the above website. i just talked to the hotel, they didn't have the group reservation programed in the system yet. they will have it done by today she said. i reccomend contacting the hotel directly, rather than the national 1-800 number. if u have any trouble talk to "Kathy Barone" in the corp. sales dept at the hotel. she knows whats up. dont forget the group name is "XMZ - Teckademics" and the rate is 62.00 per room per night.

no booking or reservations of any kind are needed for the club at this time. i will have passes to hand out to everyone during friday and saturday.
