Yeah I like them, however, In the first Mischief movie, I think some of it is staged, eg hiding from the cops. Also, I was disappointed that they didnt tell you that Dados M3 wasnt running in Mischief Destroy until you bought the DVD and started watching it. I was looking forward to that thing on a freeway. Then they filled the rest of the video with some fat pommy wanker who buys jags to smash them up? A little disappointed, still a Teck fan though!

Also, is Daniels MX6 actually fast, or is it just a good looker?

Nar, i am good friends with Dustin & Dado. Have been before any of this Mischief stuff. I go on vacation to there place once or twice a year.
Dado was just here a while back.

Have filmed stuff for the DVD's, am in the DVD's, Distribute the DVD's and have taken the pics on the cover of the Destroy DVD.

In 3000 i am in the black S2000 doing Burnouts, In Destroy i am in the Silver ML in the snow, been towed behind a car on the card, and smashing the red car on the cover :D

I dont like my face been shown and try keep out of the camera in most DVD's & Shows.

Yea I will definatly be an active member on here from now on. I run my own commodore club on the gold coast / brisbane www.commodorecruising.com.
Teck is better tho :P at the moment it a fairly shit VP commodore but I will be putting a VX style kit on it with 19" chromies, black paint job, and chrome in a few places. Then doing V8 + manual conversion, and then doing a big Digital Design's audio setup with my friend from advance audio on the gold coast. As soon as i get a kit on it and some wheels I will post up a pic. Is ther any chance of getting some stickers or what ?

My pinnie is 1990 Pintara Gli with a 2.0 litre ca20e engine pretty much same as the Crosair exept for the shell of the car :) .

With only an pod filter as current mod :icon_lol: butnot for long am hunting a turbo down.
So have to save a bit for the other extras such us chip or whole ecu upgrade and what else goes with havin a turbo.

P.S i don't think that was a m3 going for 11 grand, if it was based in Australia the min price they go for is 40 grand,, i've spent 50grand on mine so far,, but i could be wrong

You'd have to really want an E30 M3 to buy one in Australia, much less import one and get it converted, they just aren't cost-justified for the non enthusiast. Especially when you can pick up a reasonably nice E36 M3 for SIMILAR sort of money.
Either that, or you coul just buy an E46 318i and probably have a little bit of change for a nice set of rims. :D

QUT Kelvin Grove has very limited parking, so I had to park in one of the side streets at uni. Funny how there were other cars there but they didn't have any tickets, and some were there as long as I was (I remember that truck that was infront of me).

The Toyo Proxes T1-S are great (my current ones) but they're running low and I'm on a tight budget for new rubber so any suggestions for any normal road-going tyres? I might just end up getting second hand tyres from the import shop as well... I'm open to anything.

I could definately recommend Dunlop 3000A's, but they might be a bit high budget. It depends if you like corners and roundabouts or not I suppose, but just keep in mind that the most important things on your car are Tyres, Brakes and Suspension!

Oh yeah, It's also not a good idea to have 2 of one type and 2 of another, IE, pirelli p-zero on the rear and goodyear eagle F1's at the front,
Either get the same ones that you have to replace the (2?) more worn ones or buy 4 BRAND NEW ones.

What's wrong with second hand tyres? I've looked through an import place before and majority of them have alot of tread left in them (80-90%), they don't sell re-treads that's for sure.

Yeah, I don't like a mix of different tyres as well, prefer to have all of them the same brand and model. All four are about 50-60% (came with the rims when I bought it). And yeah, rims only went on about a few weeks ago? But I've put the stockies on for now as I'm worried about the 5-0 riding up my ass about the tread %.

E30 M3 is the same price if not MORE than E36.
The E36 cars are so reliable and carry so much potential, especially the 6 cyl models. The S50 motors that they have come with VANOS (type of cam management) and pre loaded with individual throttle bodies.
The torque in the M is unbelieveable. I'm looking at one at the moment.

The E30 chassis is lighter than the E36.
E36 328 is just as quick, and 2/3 the price, and newer, and easier to find, and easier to repair and find parts for, and....

Ok, I am now making the decision of my life.
I'm looking at getting a new car, but I can't decide weather to get an E36 M3 or E39 528.
The M3 would be turbocharged within 18months, but the 5 would be the pimpest thing you've ever seen, 20"+ wheels, black (of course), tv's and everything.

I can't deciede weather i want pimp or performance.

Suggestions/reasons?

It's such a toss up between the two.
Pimp cars are wicked, but so is incredible performance.
I have to think about what I'll want to keep for a few years. I don't want to have to keep buying new cars all the time. The 5 series is in a class of it's own. They're so nice inside, and they aren't slow either.
At the same time though, M3's aren't ugly and they're considerably faster than the 5 series.
Also, the 5 could fit 22's with a sqeeze. :D

I would say get the m3, did u find a kit for a RHD m3?? i reckon make more of a track sorta look if ur going to FI it. Because theres hundred of m3 with 20" rims and tvs etc. Make it diffrent and more fun. Make it something like Dado's car but not to that extent.
This is wat i would (or will :P) make a half roll cage, to nice bucket seats, remove the rear seats and build a custom fiberglass ICE system like that guy in america with the 325is turbo with widebody (brownissh color) get a nice set of dish rims like a bbs rims or something.
But whatever u decide don't put the altezza lights!!!!!
