Its like how the F*ck you hit a camel. There not like deer and dash in front of you for out of the woods. Plus there in the desert and its not like you cant see them coming.

I second that. It seems that the last few threads that he has started have been really odd auto collisions w/ animals. Is this some sort of fetish for him?

In reference to one of the other posts, its not if the person can't see it...its if the person's car has good brakes to stop in time. If you think you have seen some poor, shoddy installs on some cars around here, what we do is ground level on a 90 story building, with the guys in the Middle East being the 90th level.

You know how cab-over-engine style heavy duty trucks are supposed to have hydraulics to lift the cab up to get to the engine right? Out there, when pulled over for inspection....the hydraulics were broke on the truck...so the 6 Somailis riding in it jumped out and lifted the cab up THEMSELVES.

Interesting article...it does point out something good. 100 km/hr (62 mph) or more w/ poor tires/brakes = not good.

Hitting an animal sucks. But, if you're going through the desert, a camel might blend in until it's too late. And definately so at night. I've hit a deer, and the sumnabitch kept on running. :(

sweet jesus, how the fuck do you hit a damn camel? thos things are huge.

i have a friend that was in Iraq a couple of months ago and he told me a story about there sergeant (or whatever you call the top guy) told them they where going into a very dangerous area and they had permission to shoot any thing that was moving about 20 seconds after he said that, one of the other solders stood up and shot 4 or 5 rounds into the area behind the sergeant, when everyone looked over there, there was a camel laying on the ground dead. The sergeant just laughed and called the guy a dumbass.
