So a few of you have heard me talk about my mom's first 2000 BMW Z3 which was totaled by an old lady that passed out at the wheel. Well I finally got pics scanned into my computer. The car was 6 weeks old, pretty much brand new. Combined speed of the 2 cars was equal to about 60 mph. All my mom had was a seatbelt bruise and a bruise on her wrist from the flap opening when the airbag came out. Gotta love German engineering.

Yeah this was back in August of 2000. The car took all the damage, which is why my mom was ok. BMW's are amazing in crashes.

You betcha! It's on my dresser at home in Baltimore. I have a set of keys too, just for the hell of it. It's fun to go to clubs and be like "Yeah I drive a BMW. Here's the key to it." :rofl:

roadsters are very good in head on collisions its the ones from the side that kill ya or maybe the resulting roll over but meh i can live with that, or maybe i cant ....

It's a good thing she was hit by a Ford Taurus and not an H2 or some other huge suv.


(Yes, I picked the H2 on purpose because I hate them)
