On Saturday, Ed organized a "Cars for the Cure" drive around the Orlando area. About 35 cars showed up for the cruise. A nice mix of cars showed up including a widebody NSX, a couple Gallardos, a Lightning, an Elise, and a modified Modena Stradale.

The drive went pretty smooth until a lady cut off a 350Z. The driver of the Z lost control at over 100mph, spun 6-7 times across 4 lanes of traffic, through the grassy median, and over to the shoulder facing opposing traffic. Didn't hit anyone! Crazy shit. He was only 20 minutes late for our first stop! All this was captured on tape and will be on Mischief 6.

On the second-half of the drive, we were warned that the police were looking for us. Ed wanted me to drive his car because his license is suspended. I said "okay" with a big grin on my face and jumped into his Porsche. When we got out onto the highway, I immediately got into a race with a modified red 996T and an orange Gallardo. After about 5 minutes of fun, I almost blew the motor. I down-shifted when I thought I was up-shifting. Oops! Sorry Ed. Hey, it happens. I gave Ed back his car and had a permanent smile on my face for the rest of the day.

It probably is functional, if you look at diffusers on race cars, they follow the lines of the underbody and try to diffuse air as best as they can without creating too much lift... Now I don't imagine an NSX is a smooth as a sheet of paper underbelly like a race car, but I am probably wrong.

1st post here w00t!!!

Any ways, the rally Ed organized was awesome and just an all out blast. Lunch was great and that spirited drive afterwards was fun as well.

Glad to meet everyone and hopefully gonna see you guys soon.

How's the footage you got from the cruise Dustin?? mine was pretty nice to say the least, even tho I didnt have my usual in car equipment, didnt bring since not my car I didnt want to scratch anything in Rob's X50. I'll make a short video of the event when I have a chance and ill post it on here, to make some ppl wet there pants ;)

ya thats such a nice scene, last time i was ina huge cruise like that , u get butterflies in ur stomach jsut drivin along ina huge pack, its a great feeling
