If this post should not be allowed, please delete. The following is something I think can benefit some of the community in terms of performance mods.

I'm currently working on a series of intake manifolds ranging from the MR2, Supra, WRX, DSM's, and SR20 / ka motored 240's.

Also we'll I'm planning on doing a MR2 exhaust and downpipe which will start soon.

This is more or less an effert to get some feed back in terms of what some are looking for if any of the vehicles listed above your driving.

Currently I am in the development and testing phases of a WRC front mounted throttle body manifold. This manifold will flow better and provide beneficial gains over the stock manifold. At this time it’s still based on stock runners, but they’ve been ported to increase flow to the head.

On top of the front mounted throttle body design there is also a grill mounted WRC style intercooler I will be offering as well. This will be slightly bigger than the stock top mount, and because of it’s position will offer better cooling.

The new manifold will also be designed to accept the front mount intercoolers, and offer straighter shorter intercooler piping for a cleaner, lighter look that will provide better flow due to the decrease in pipe length and overall volume.

This is simply a poll as to wether or not the WRX community is interested in these products. I can also do Uppipes to support a tial/hks/greddy wastegate, and a t4 flange for those wanting a budget upgrade turbo kit.

I'd like to see this thread develope into something that will benefit the community with quality products that will not only look good but perform just as well. This cannot happen without feedback from you guys.

The supra intake manifold is also based on stock 2jz-gte runner's it features a straighter design while offering equal flow, and more top end tq/hp. More details to follow on that.

The mr2's manifold will be based off the supra's design but accept stock throttle body and stock provisions.

Again if this thread is violating any forum rules please remove.

hmmm got any demo pieces youd like to have Dyno tested for the SR?

I'll have some pictures up in the following weeks to come. First up will be for the supra. The SR-20 will be based off the RB26 jun intake manifold in terms of shape with what ever throttle body size you would like to run.

As far as dyno testing the SR20... At this point who ever we make the first one for will be using his/her numbers as a reference. The intake manifold will be flow benched so that will provide some decent numbers in terms of what kind of flow/performance/gains can be expected.

I'm sure we can work something out for maybe cost of materials and provide a throttle body and you'd be able to walk away with a manifold for testing for you. I'll keep you updated right now i'm waiting on supplies to make the first batch of manifolds.

I just installed a front mount intercooler on my WRX and i was really thinking about a reverse manifold but couldn't find one, If you have any pics i would love to see them. This is a awesome product and i'm very thankful ur making it :)

I'll try and get some stuff ready and up in the next week or two. The first one or two we do for each car will be done at a reduced price in exchange for additonal testing and actual road time.

if i were to upgrade the intake manifold id think of running a 90mm Q45 throttle body, i believe the JUN SR Manifold and the Signal one both come with the correct flange for this throttle body, but of course you can always weld one on. Please keep me updated as i am very interested in having a custom plenum fabricated sometime soon. It would need to be designed for equal power distribution throughout the rpm range, not too much on the the top end or bottom end only, since it is a drift car. I think the JUN Manifold is all top end.

Also try posting this at http://www.jdmsupercars.com Im a moderator there so its ok to post things like this, plus weve got plenty of Supra, Sykline, and Silvia owners on there looking for stuff like this

Dan,
for the type of manifold your looking to get. What I can do is design one based of longer runners which will provide the mid and low rpm response your looking for while the high volume will still provide enough for a decent topend. Q45 throttle body is an excellent way to go. That's what I've planned on running myself so it won't be hard to fab up a flange to mount the throttle body. I'll have some design idea's up in a few days for you to give you an idea of what kind of design's you'd possibly be interested.
