View Full Version : MISCHIEF V CHAPTER 3 : SNOW 3
DUSTIN WORLES
02-05-2005, 02:02 PM
"Snow 3" was a lot of fun to produce. We would tie up sleds and trash can lids to the back cars and trucks and go f-ing nuts. Skiing and snow-boarding behind automobiles in the snow is always fun too.
The crazy car sledding clips were filmed by these guys from Fansn.com. I pretty sure some of you have seen their "Car Sledding" videos on the net. If you haven't you should download some on their vids.

We also had a little incident with my friend's new F-150. I was too afraid of running the truck through a 7 foot pile of snow. Dado had no problem doing it. It took him 3 tries to level the hill. We didn't know that there was ice in the middle of the snow hill. We should have checked:

H2 is a suburban with a bodykit. It is a turd, period. For that kind of coin, build your own rig so it won't break when you do real offroading...

Damn...a couple weeks ago we were car sledding in the Barnes & Noble parking lot in Rockville, we had a train of 3 sleds goin about 30-40mph. I was second in line, the dude in front of me slid off his sled and rolled INTO a curb, bounced, and landed in a bush. He had to go to the ER for kidney bruising. If he didn't let go of my sled's rope, I would of been right behind him :scared:
EDIT: Oh yeah, Mike from CarAntics filmed it all.

Ouch to the F-150, but Im sure D&D will repair any damage made (right guys?? *nudge* *nudge*).
You know what would be original with a Hummer 2? Everybody in the world who mods those things are dubbing them out....if somebody actually modified it to improve its off-road performance, that would be original.
Like 44 inch Super Swamper Boggers that have at least an 75-85 sidewall rating, Weld 17 or 18 inch rims with bead locks, suspension lift. Supercharged motor with tubular steel grille guards, taillight guards, light bar, sidesteps. THATS how to mod something with a HUMMER nameplate attached to it.
As for everybody saying "A Hummer 2 is technically....": A Hummer 2 is built on a Tahoe frame, with a 6.0L V8 that is found in base model packages of all Chevrolet Silverado HD Pickups. Optional I believe is a 6.5L Diesel, the same 6.5L Diesel that is named the Duramax Diesel. AND, technically that is an ISUZU engine, not a GM engine. An Allison automatic transmission, which by the way are built in Baltimore, may become another option in the near future.
