I've always wanted one of these and when a great deal popped up I couldn't refuse. Car is bone stock and in excellent shape. Don't plan on modding anytime soon but when the time comes intake and exhaust and eventually upgraded turbo's. For now the car is quick enough for me so we'll see how it goes. Only a few pics for now, more up in the coming days.

This too is one of my dream vehicles.

Mine would need to have 2 disco potatoes strapped to each side though. Either way, awesome car! One that could easily be turned into an 11 second family vacation vehicle.

Congrats. I love them as well but in my opinion you get more value for your money with an E46 M3. Can't beat the quattro though :)

Maintenance is a nightmare on the BiTurbo V6

True, definitely not the vehicle for someone who isn't willing to pick up a wrench, or at least deep pockets if you can't DIY.

I've done timing belts and waterpumps on a couple B5 S4's as well as a couple A6's with the same motor. Nothing like having to rip half the car apart to change a pump and a belt that resembles a snowmobile track

But you gotta love the removable front end. Bumper, core support, ahhhh free space.

This is why alot of guys are swapping the bi turbo 6 out for a VW VR6

i likey the sound of that. Throw a BT on there and you wouldn't even notice a difference. Except for the sweet sweet exhaust tone.

Yes sir, sound great, make the same if not more power, and best of all no timing belt, they have chains. The guides need to be looked at but not nearly as often as the belt needs replaced on the BT V6.

Heres an A4 with the swap

Edit: They have since broken 800whp with this car

I now wish I had kept my yellow B5 quattro 1.8t and done this to it. I sold it because I had planned to flip the car, got it for a steal and put a new head on. Why oh why did it have to be an auto?

I do miss my Audi, I'm actually looking for another one, dont care what year as long as it's 5 or 6 speed manual

Gotta get a quattro FSI and go GT30. Dude I love my car now, the FSI was so boring past 4k before. Now its a monster.

I'm thinkin more along the lines of a 2.8 VR6 punched to 3.2, GT35R liquid cooled ball bearing goodness

Not bad not bad.

IMO though if I were really going that route, MKIV R32 would do the trick with less custom work.

Same bore as a 2.8 with a longer stroke, I'd go backwards, larger bore shorter stroke. Faster spool time and a higher redline.
