Well I don't know about the rest of the East Coast, some of it's pretty whack  but I fucking love New York with a passion, there's nothing else like it. I would be very sad to have to leave, unless of course it was really worth it

That is the first and only time you will ever hear me refer to something as "whack: :p

at least we dont have blackouts.

it think it was 2 years ago, but like half of New York if not all lost power for like a full day just about... man that sucks driving home from work in a black out with no street lights when you just started learning how to drive 5spd and theres bumper to bumper traffic up hills...

my normal comute to work takes me about 30 mins.. in the blackout to get home it took me well over an hour and a half .... at least i got to leave work early and be at my gf's with the only house on the block with power having a bbq with music.. thank you generators :)

That blackout was so much fun  I remember driving around in the middle of the night, not one light (except the moon) or a sound ANYWHERE (thats saying a lot for Long Island, lol)...it was unlike anything I've ever experienced. I remember it happened during the hottest week in August...good GOD it was so hot in the house, I was sleeping on the lawn

lol i got home from work and was bored outta my mind with no power, so i went out washed my car for a bit, then i went to my GF's who lives a few houses away around the corner casue she has a generator at her house. so we wound up havin a huge BBQ.. we were the only house in the entire neighberhood with power.. and her brother in law ownes Old Street Pub and the freezers there stopped workin so all the expensive filet mignon and strip steaks would have went bad so he went and brought them all back so we were eatin expensive steaks and shrimps... alot of fun.

I love it here on the east coast, mainly because of the way "the law" handles things. In CA they got that dragnet thing goin on now (mostly San Diego) where they target street racers and just look for reasons to take away their cars. Over here I've been pulled over many times :cops: , lots of warnings, one speeding ticket (78 in a 45). None of my cars ever have catalytic converters, and I've never had a problem. Plus inspections are easier to come by. I just got a Teck windshield banner made and I was just curious, am I the only one reppin central PA? I know there are several of us in the Pittsburgh area, and a lot in eastern PA (Philly, etc..) But I haven't heard of anything goin in in central PA. I'm about an hour north of Harrisburg. Other than the lack of activity in my area, I love this place.

:werd: about the tornadoes and stuff. No tornadoes or earthquakes. Only weak hurricanes and annoying fucking snow. :heartbrea

 The blackout was pretty weird. I remember I was helping my neighbor detail his Probe GT, and all of a sudden, my mom drives up to say that the power went out in the whole east coast. It was too fucking HOT. Like WHOA. I had the HARDEST time trying to sleep! I had to sleep on the basement floor, which was cold, but always had to move 'cause my body heat kept warming up the panelling. My dad worked in the city, and we were all worried about him. Then at about 11PM, all of a sudden, he comes home in his friend's minivan with a smile on his face to say, " Go inside the van, you can cool off there because the air condition is on. " :eek7:
