LulzSec, which had previouslyhacked Sony BMG’s Japanese website (according to Forbes) has promised more attacks against Sony and claimed that this is the beginning of the end for Sony.

LulzSec tweeted:
We’re working on another Sony operation. We’ve condensed all our excited tweets into this one: this is the beginning of the end for Sony.

Update 2: I was reading further in the tweets of LulzSec and I found that they are planning to begin Phase 1 within the next day:

"(Sony + Ownage) Phase 1 will begin within the next day. We may have a pre-game show for you folks though. Stay tuned."

So this means they are apparently working on another operation against Sony. Well, I am not sure whether this is the same group behind the PSN hack but I really do hope Sony will take every security measure possible to protect its fame and it’s users.

I found out about it on these forums:

Can't these hacking fucking dicks come up with something better to do with their time????

Seriously, how about hacking into the bank accounts of the Pharmaceutical companies & transfer millions of $ to charities that support our wounded veterans?

Really tired of them thinking they're taking on the "good fight" for all of us. I honestly do not care one iota about their personal grudges against Sony or any other company. I mean what,...Sony tell you your computer skills had no place in the grand scheme of things for their company? Well too fucking bad. Just push off & get on with your damned life (assuming you have one).

Edit: thank you for the space to rant. ;)

Last night Lulzsec has hacked Sony Entertainment Development Network.
The day before they hacked Nintendo and a company for Cybersecurity that is related/working for the FBI.

It is said (but not confirmed) that a member of Lulzsec has been found and captured in the US....

This is getting out of hand

Lulzsec claims they hacked Facebook and Xbox Live as well. Microsoft denies the claims.

Top priority is to steal and leak any classified government information, including email spools and documentation. Prime targets are banks and other high-ranking establishments. If they try to censor our progress, we will obliterate the censor with cannonfire anointed with lizard blood.

Even IF this was for a good cause, there are black sheep in every group and they fuck it up for everyone. I don't know what to think of this. If they're after Governments and the Big Companies, why do they steal data from innocent people? Just to harm the Reputation of the Company?

If you put that on Twitter, I bet someone from LulzSec will find out about it and get it done to prove they can. They've hacked companies because someone called them out before.

This is some crap though, it's out of hand. But I totally agree with you.

They say they are "declaring war", however, the US Government has stated that ANY major form of cyber attack on their network is considered a REAL act of war. Not this little "war" lulzsec is claiming, a real one. How would they handle a private organization instead of a country? Simple, my guess is that they will be treated and hunted down like the terrorists that they are. I hope they are looking forward to cuddling up next to a cock McSandwich in there new future home at Gitmo.

It is said that a hacker -supposed to be the head of a group that was recently in the news- was captured in the UK. Lots of evidence was found.
Lulzsec denied that it was someone from them - of course.
I doubt it as well.

Yeah, and Lulzsec is only going to increase their shit that they are doing. They said they would release all the personal info they have on the people responsible for turning that guy in.

honestly, first I had some positive emotions about "the hacker" no mater if lulzsec or anon, but by now this is getting outta hand big time. It´s one thing to publish some security breaches from bigger companies (which I think is okay as long as it is not abused) but by now, this is totally out of hand. Just a matter of time till this is going down the drain and I have the feeling that this is no good for the normal internet user

I have same feeling Olli. It's going way over the top. I heard that LulzSec and Anonymous are going to join together and they are planning some actions against governments and another institutes.

yeah, heard that too, I´m more or less fine with that as long as they leave my possible data alon as well as the PSN :-)
But seriously, I haven´t seen much more then a couple DDOS attacks from them lately.
Which really doesn´t hurt anybody much...
