Going to Japan for the first time in April....Need Suggestions!

Ill be going to Okinawa for one week in April......just wondering if anyone has been there or would have any suggestions as to places/people/shops to visit while im there. Ill have my video camera there so there will be plenty of video to show when I get back. Im real interested in visiting a few tuning shops down there in hopes of bringing back a few parts with me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

if you are going to speed (idk you mite), watch out for those cameras. And as for food, my dad told me that buta no kakuni is good. its pork, its suppose to be good. he also said pig ears and pig feet are also suppose to be good there...but thats up to you if you want to try. You're going to Okinawa only? Tokyo is a great place too.

anyways, i've thought about going to the country side of Japan to film, but im not sure whether to go to Okinawa or Hokkaido. When you get back, could you tell me if theres lots of cops/cop cameras/ wide empty roads? thanks lol.

i want to go to tokyo for a vacation, but how expensive would it be for about a week to a week and a half with a flight from NY to there? and dan have fun and take lots of pictures!

Wow thats gonna be a long flight. Dan put out the extra cash if you can and get first class seating for the transatlantic part of the flight at least. You'll thank me later.

Buy and extra large suitcase, nachos and mountaindew and u can smuggle me over there hehe.
I went to Osaka a few years back. Stay away from "Tako" sushi (it means octopus) its okay but chewwy as hell. and get some vids of you snorting wassabe!! lol
I definately miss the food, japanese food is WAY better than hometown cookin' of indiana....
and yes the flight and jet lagg suck ass, do plan on doing anything too strenuous(sp?) the first day ull get cranky..
