What are your thoughts on the $100 accessory known as PS Move? They have them here at the BX and the thought has crossed my mind. Anyone actually wanting to get it?
I've grown up and viewed video games as a "sit on your ass" kind of activity. Move kinda goes against that mentality, lol. But I dunno, with games like MAG and Killzone 3 getting Move compatibility, along with games like Kung Fu Rider, which looks fun, I dunno it looks enticing.

It's supposed to be super precise which is awesome but I have no plans on getting it. Nothing I want supports it.

Will LBP2 get Move compatibility? Not sure how that would work.

I've read that Kung Fu Rider is not at all accurate and that the game is borderline unplayable. Personally for me the whole motion control stuff from both PS3 and Xbox are just unnecessary gimmicks. And way to expensive gimmicks at that. Now I have a wii and yeah I wish the controller was more precise but its the only controller you get with the system, I can't see going out and spending 120 bucks for all the stuff you need for move or 150 for Kinect. But again that's just my opinion, I don't think there are enough games out for the more mature gamer to warrant such an investment at this stage. Maybe next year when more good games can utilize the technology.

I bought the Move for 2 reasons. 1, My wife was pissed at me and I knew she really wanted the Eyepet game, and 2, because GT5 uses the new PSeye (included in the move bundle) to perform head tracking in cabin view. I found the table tennis to be amazing. It's super precise and makes you feel as if your in a 3D world. It can detect if you put a spin on the ball and back handed hits feel as natural as if you were really holding a paddle. Every little twist of the wrist is processed. I'm very impressed with everything the PS Move can do and will do. I say its totally worth the $100 to expand your PS to another level. Heavy rain, and RE5 Gold edition are getting patches for Move compat, along with some other FPS. Should be cool.

I think they were demonstrating it at the BX yesterday, but I was in too much of a hurry to check it out. They have been selling like hot cakes there though. They had a stack of the PS3 Slim Move bundles as tall as me for a while, then yesterday they were damn near out of them.
I do want to try it before buying it. Plus, it wont be anytime soon though, I've spent way too much money lately, lol.

Okay the whole moving head thing in GT 5 would make it worth it to me, but I don't have the extra cash lying around right now for it. You'll have to let us know how it really works when you get Gt 5.

Was considering it last week when I saw it at a Walmart for like $70 for the upgrade kit. Definitely want tp try it before buying though because with lbp2 I would need 3 sets... ouch, thinking of the hurt my wallet.
