So, for those who watched it and for those who didn't, to recap:
- 3D is still the big thing this year
- All 3D games will have the 2D versions on the same disc, perks of Blu-Ray
- Killzone 3 was made as a 3D-native game and looks awesome
- Other 3D-native titles include: Crysis 2, Mortal Kombat, Shaun White, Ghost Recon, Tron Evolution, NBA 2K11, Motorstorm, Gran Turismo 5
- Playstation Move comes to the US on Sept 19th, $50 for just the Move controller (optional Nav controller is $30), $100 for Move/PS Eye bundle, $400 for PS3/Move/Eye bundle
- Heavy Rain, Resident Evil Toy Story 3 and a few others will be getting software updates to support Move functionality.
- Lots of new PSP titles coming out, like inviZimals (augmented reality game) and God of War: Ghost of Sparta
- Tester2 auditions start today
- Go on Playstation HOME and check out the virtual version of the Sony E3 booth now!
- Little Big Planet 2 previewed, showing tons of new features, and will be more than just a platforming game, it will be a "platform for games", I can't wait!
- Playstation Plus, the new PSN premium subscription service: $50 a year or $18 for 3 months
- PS Plus gets you exclusive content, discounts at the store, Qore, free downloads, auto-downloads, games, demos, beta's, etc.
- Medal of Honor will be a PS3 exclusive, multiplayer made by DICE, and looks awesome. Maybe a COD contender? Release date is 12 Oct
- Dead Space 2 coming to the PS3, will be PS Move capable
- Portal 2 is coming to the PS3 as well, and will be a PS3 exclusive.
- Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will debut a multiplayer version for the first time, also a PS3 exclusive
- The big news, Gran Turismo 5 - November 2nd!
- GT5 will be fully playable in 3D, with 2D version on the same disc
- And the final surprise of the night, Twisted Metal returns, with full online multiplayer gaming, and will be another PS3 exclusive! Due out in 2011.
"Exclusive" was a common word this year, and with GT5, MoH, LBP2, Move, and 3D, I'm going to be one broke mofo.
Discuss, what are you looking forward to the most?
