Ive been swifting around the fourms and it seems that acouple of new fourm sections could do some good. I belong to another mustang fourm and just thought some ideas from that could also apply here. Fourm game section, drag /track section, autocross section. Vendor section(discount codes for members) General Tech Areas for such things as car care, brakes, engine, exhuast, poweradders, suspention, elections, visual. Just some ideas I thought I would sling out and see if any of it sticks. :loki:

dunno if we need tons of separate sections for modifications and such, but these are good ideas. does anyone here besides steve and i actually go to track days?

i like the idea of having a general knowledge base section where it breaks down into each area of car care.. engine/drivetrain/suspention so if anyone has any questions or reccomendations for brands and stuff but that all kinda falls under the heading of Garage.

not THAT expensive. and by working 2 weekends you get one free. just get a NASA membership, $50 a year. you can drive any car in HPDE.

There's only a handful of members who have high performance cars let alone actually track them lol. Good ideas though

imo we have enough sections for everything... like its been stated... the garage section works fine.. if this was a model specific forum, great, break it all down but most people dont ask for specific model help on here... most of us are members on other car enthusiest sits which are model specific.

^ word.

Well.. techincally word(s), but we'll let that pass..

Good ideas, but we already have - IMO - too many forum sections. If something gains a lot of popularity in subject, simply create a social group for it. If it gets super popular like the PS3 one did, we can make it into a forum.

+1, Maybe one section for Mods under the Garage section.

I try to get a few trackdays in a year through EMRA, NASA, Hooked on Driving, or Track Daze.

maybe not that narrow of fields. But I thoght that maybe Visual Mods, Proformance Mods, and Handling Mods could be great fields. It could jsut be used for advice for what to do next and what would look good being that everyone here has differnt car backgrounds many points of view could be put in to come up with good ideas. I Think a car care section is needed just to point out good products and ways to really clean your car. (clay bar, buffing, wax, ect.) Again, just some more thoughts. :)
