View Full Version : 2000 WRX STi vs a 81 Trans Am
okay well lest just say my little GC8 got pissed off by this liter Trans Am, and he laid some rubber down infront of me in a turn. so he keeps going alittle, I down shift it let the boost kickin and blew the fucking doors off him. after that he never came with in 20 feet of my rear bumper I think I hurt his pride

Ok, nice kill. But you do know those 81 t/a's only have like 180hp... maybe.

6.6?? What was it, a GM diesel motor or something?? Hopefully the diesel is not from the same time frame, b/c the 6.6L Diesels from the 80s put out a dismal 195hp non-turboed.

The 6.6L (400cid) V8 from that era had 220hp factory rating. Damn, the oil crisis days must have sucked hard.

I think they said he had it tuned to about 275 but who knows, his doors are in the middle of the street

Haha, thats all that counts, right? Does the Scooby have an EJ20 in it?
EJ20T 375hp to the wheels baby :D
I think I gave him whip lash too because his head snaped when my bov went off next to him

i love loud bovs :)
The first time I ever drove a turbo car was a few weeks ago when I went to test drive an rx7 tt. Man - it is such a rush hearing those turbos spool up and then the blow off valve... I didn't even get on it that much cause I was scared it was so loud. Unfortunately I've found out once youve driven with boost nothing else is really the same...

LOL.
I forgot to add the guy looked like Ron Jeremy, long curlly hair mustash and stuff so it made this kill even funnier

Damn I love your car. I've always liked the GC styling over the newer models, but your car is very, very nice.

The thing about 350s is.... there's one for every power need. Kinda like Hondas, but all Hondas are tuned to "slow" except S2000s and NSXs. Which really makes Hondas nothing like 350s... sorry im so tired

The GM 305 is the Honda 1.6 of the V8 world. :p
