We decided that since Mary's Arrival that we just needed something a bit larger than the 300. I know the 300 is huge right? Not really, there wasn't all that much room in the car for everything we now have to take with us everywhere we go. Plus the weather this year really made me reconsider having a RWD car. It didn't even move for 2 weeks after the big snowstorm. So in moves the 2008 Wrangler 4 door. Not crazy about all the chrome but I gotta wait til it get s a bit warmer to see about taking some of it off.

So let me know what ya think...

Also I need ideas of what color Loki Head to get :loki:

Agreed.. in fact, you need new wheels too.. I know someone who would take those off your hands [paranoid]

that is alot of chrome, too much for my tastes at least. Some bigger rims/tires and maybe a slight lift and you'll have a looker. I have not ridden in a newer one but the soft top may get on your nerves flapping in the highway winds. invest in a hardtop esp for the winter.

I have a soft top and it's Über loud at speed. That said, I'm sure the new ones are better

I love it. Need a tip? Make everything that's chrome on it into black. It'll look way better.

Okay, so.......
(for Tina) I hate GC srt8s
The chrome is going bye bye! (all except for the front grill)
The soft top is not loud at all, nor is it cold or breezy
NO WE DON'T NEED DIFFERENT WHEELS/TIRES/LIFT/B.S./ETC......other than the chrome leaving and being replaced with stock or "stock-ish" parts nothing on this thing will change.
I hate that it doesn't have power door locks and windows, but I guess thats because the doors come off
I still don't think this thing has enough room, but it has more than the srt did

.....with all of that said, the wrangler is growing on me......slowly.....its going to take a while, but with lower payment, lower insurance, and 6 year/80,000 mile warranty left I just couldn't say no.

We tried to get a GC SRT-8, dealer wanted to give us like 16k for the 300. Then I just decided it would be better to get a lower payment and cheapen the ole' insurance. I loved the 300 but it just never felt like me, even though the Jeep is extremely slow it feels more up my alley, that and the fact I've wanted one since my dad had a 86 CJ7 when I was a kid. I won't be doing anything to it (except chrome removal) until the tires wear out, which may be a long while.

So who's up for starting Mischief Off Road? lol

Im actually looking for a Jeep now, after the snow fiasco weeks ago I decided to look for a 4WD vehicle cause the Honda sucked in the snow. My honda is paid off as of next Friday so ill have money freed up for a Jeep and to work on the Z!

A freak snow storm of that magnitude that happens once every 8-10 years wouldnt be enough to make me buy something just for it. I would miss having a car too much. Hell, Im trying to buy a RWD car and sell my AWD. Although this winter has been fun in my Subie.
