Ok, people's signatures are getting way out of hand on this site. It takes forever to scroll down a page now.

...thanks for sharing? I think there's already a limit on the image size.

well, considering this section is for "comments" and "feedback" I thought I would make a "comment" that is "feedback" about the site pertaining to the size of images used. Thank you for submitting your two cents, I will make sure to file that away.

yea some photos are are a little too big , but if its taking so long its probably your computer... sigs dont slow or mess any pages up for me.. you might have to reformat your comp and get all the bugs out or something.... i had to do that way in the past casue it was taking forver for anything on my comp...

its not that it slows down my computer, its that it takes forever to scroll down a thread because the page is three times the length it should be.

I am not talking about the "load time" of a page. This has nothing to do with the speed of my computer or the speed of my internet. This is about the LENGTH of a particular page due to the size of signatures.

I don't mean to be an "ass", but you were the one who called me a control freak when I changed your 2048x1600 sig and asked you to follow forum guidelines 3 consecutive times. I try to enforce the guidelines fairly strictly, and usually even go as far as resizing and rehosting sigs.

well, if you had actually talked to me or even chris leiter you would have known that it was a joke based upon the size of peoples signatures. I got pissed off because you didnt even ASK me to change it rather than going ahead and doing it yourself. I believe its common courtesy to actually ask someone first.

I understand, but it is posted as a forum guideline, and shouldn't require a 2nd warning. I was joking with you at first, and I'm sorry if you took things personally. I try to be more lenient now.

its cool dude, but chris had told me he would let all the mods know that it was going to be a joke prior but Im guessing that he didnt. Overall it was a misscommunication but my purpose remains the same, to draw attention to the size of various signatures. They shouldnt be any bigger than yours.

If I see any that look to large, I resize them to 500x250 or below. If you see any that are larger, just PM me, I'll take care of it.

Cool, looks like this problem is being addressed and everyone is on the same page. Thread closed.:wiggle:
