anybody live there or nearby? my girl may be getting a job at a new TV station there, which means i may be living there this summer. just wondering how it is, any suggestions of stuff to do, etc.

c-ville is dead during the summer when UVA is out. Your best bet is the hour and a half drive to DC.

I'm not a fan. I dont go to school there but im like 30 minutes away. I personally hate it.

C-ville's saving grace is there is a crutchfield outlet there...but you are only an hour and a half away from DC/ Richmond/ and Hyperfest! you can go to all the drifting events.

i think its a little farther then an hour and a half. i go to school 30 mins from uva and i believe closer to northern va and it takes me about 2 hours depending on traffic. We usually take the back way to avoid that crap though.

Charlottesville sucks! Theres nothing to do at all. i go to school about 45 minutes away from there, so I'm there all the time. Tell the wife to stay where she is with the job man!
