Teckademics Magazine?

Just thinking here, is Teck considering making a magazine of their own soon?

Probably could do features and stuff on rides of people in teck, interviews and stuff...

Quarterly unless you could get enough crap together for monthly... It'd be a hell of a place to make some cash off of advertising, have a tuning tips section, each magazine feature a different brand, vw in one, bmw in another, honda (barf) in one, etc etc etc...

Just throwing ideas out there.

It's a cool idea. I know they keep very busy with all their other merchandise, promotions, car shows, etc. But if Teck made a magazine I'd def. subscribe!

It would cost quite a bit of $. Sounds like an awesome idea though :thumbs:. That would be cool to walk by a newsstand and see teck magazines there, great publicity!

Not really... If they bought their own presses, yes, it would be $75,000ish for a shitty one. Not counting papers/inks.

you would need mostly editors and they get paid usualy per story they write up...freelance...my friends own a press shop, and we were going to start our own little mag for social night life in the city...if you get partners it becomes real cheap...

haha...love the first story by dado. but i would def subscribe to this. hey...im majoring in journalism so i can do this kind of stuff. go work for a car/tuner magazine, test drive cars and then write up a report on it. take pics even though im not that great on photography, just more of a hobby. but i def be interested in this

hell yeah, i have experience as a journalist. that would be kinda of cool. get a bunch of people who can write, you already have enough people who can shoot the pics, write articles about shit we wanna hear about. driving fast, raising hell and getting drunk.

im sure alot of people who get involved, problem is start up funds LOL. need ink, paper, printing, location etc..

sean and dustin know alot of people will donate their time, but time isnt everything ;( hell if i had the money i would throw it their way to start it

im sure they wouldnt need to pay people, people would just submit there pics and articles, getting credit in the mag is more than enough as far as im concerned.
