This will be my last personal build thread. I loved wheeling the Gunslinger however it is such a sensative vehicle is took me 2 days of maintenance for every 6hrs of fun time in the mud. Since my buyer for it fell through I am keeping and making it a show truck. So now the good stuff. I found an 86 K-5 Blazer locally for $1,500. I called and offered the owner a dirt bike I hadnt riddin in 3 years and he took it. It was pretty rough to say the least, the 305 was knocking badly, the tires were bald and the transfer case didnt stay in 4 wheel. I had a spare engine for the Z-28 on a stand so in it went. It's a Jasper 375hp 400cube small block topped with a holley square bore dual plane aluminum intake and an edelbrock 675cfm 4 barrel carb. Exhaust is sent through hooker long tube extreme duty headers and 3" pipes with flowmaster 40 series mufflers. Transmission is stock with the exception of the B&M Trick Shift fluid I put in when I serviced it. Transfer case is an NV241 stolen(I mean borrowed) from a wrecked HMMWV. Every U-Joint in the SUV was replaced with Brute Force billet units from ORU. The lift is a 9" trailmaster with posative arch springs for the front and aggressive arch springs with blocks for the rear. Tires are an old but in excellent shape set of 39X15.50X15 Firestone All Terrain T/X's snagged from a friend mounted on American Racing "Tailgunner" rims 15X14's. No stereo yet, the floors are all Line-X's diamond plate steel 1/4" thick. Home fabbed skid plates over anything vital and dollar store flat black paint is slapped on the body. Heres a few pics.

Especially the K5. I was actually lookin at buyin your exact truck but stock. Though if it was a human it would of died in a horrible death of Cancer if ya know what I mean.

Hows that with cancer spots?? Lemme guess rocker panels and maybe liftgate startin?

Rockers are shot and so is the tailgate, she has some minor surface rust started in afew other spots but with LMC Truck I'll have that stuff gone this summer before I head to the sand box

The one I was looking at passenger side a good 5 inch hole gone. The tailgate was goin, and under the carpet the from was gettin eatin away. I was soo disappionted once I saaw all of it. It had a new Jasper 350 in it too and the owner didnt know it had it. haha

Yes the K5! My friend had one of these in high school and we used to cause SO much ruckus with that thing. Definitely a fun vehicle that you never have to worry about.

4) Added Cobra 19 Ultra III CB with PA loudspeaker
5) Added fresh set of 39X14.50X15 Pitt Bull Mad Dog tires

O my friends beautiful lifted 87 silverado did that last year going to our beach in MD. As you know same 350.

Mines a Jasper 400. Its a bit common for 400's to eat head gaskets as they have more but smaller cooling jackets than it's little brother the 350
