Something I'm not sure you get over in the US, but it's great fun. Good for a 19 y.o. in the UK, as insurance over here is a killer :cops:

very cool, fun car. some nice scenery and pics as well! We have the XS4 in the States, is that similar to the Sport?
There's an older DSM/Evo tuner, Road Race Engineering out in Southern California. They recently started developing a program for Lancers and Suzuki's. I'm not sure if you've seen them, but check out the site:

The car is definitely different! But I must admit....I think it looks kinda cool. And those pictures are AMAZING!!! I took one look at that long shot and immediately wanted to try and go as fast as I could through that stretch!

Yeah, you can see the far side of $1.20 through there in fast cars, although the Swift is still into triple digits.
Oh, and we do have the SX4 here, which Suzuki are entering in the WRC I do believe.

Wait why is it MPH as the dominant on the speedometer

I'm not sure, that annoys me a little. I think it's because it's based on a lesser model (1.3 and 1.5 liter engines), and therefore the rev counter was less important for those drivers. Would have probably made the car more expensive to have the rev counter in the center.
I can see your point though, especially as the delivery is like a VTEC. The car is pretty dull up to 4000rpm, where the VVTi picks up and it suddenly shoots down the road.

Nice car......Tough Guy worthy for sure!
I checked it out myself, but it is simply to small for me. Now that I have my drift bus I have probs to think about something smaller....

We get those in Aus. First time I saw one, I dubbed it the Japanese Mini :D
One of my friends recently traded his VW Polo on one, and he couldn't be happier!

Yeah there seems to be a big Aussie following for the SSS, there's a huge forum.
I heard the cops are terrible over there though, and breaking the speed limit is akin to raping your kids :thumbsdow

The original SSS (aka Swift GTi of the 90's) was a HUGE hit over here, maybe that's why the new SSS is so big now. That, and the other small Jap cars over here are either stupidly overpriced, ugly, girly or just straight boring!
LOL.... indeed it is, 30km/h over the limit, say good bye to your licence for 3 months :sadwavey:

That thing looks pretty sweet. FWIW, they handle like little go karts.

but why is mph dominant over km/h? weird.
nice little car though.

Yep, his Polo had a few recurring problems, plus he said he could never get the perfect driving position. He really does love his SSS.

Well my SS is a 1.6VVTi too, although they do make a 1.5GL version of the Suzuki Swift.
Polos don't handle anything like as well as the swift, and the Swifts engine, despite not giving enough power is quite a peach. It has forged internals, and oil cooling spray onto the pistons apparently :loki:

Yea I fixed that. Bilsteins are a wonderful thing. You need to put some forced induction on your swift :dancingco

Video clip will be needed of the new exhaust :thankyou:

I have an HD video of the exhaust, which I'll upload tomorrow night. It's a short tunnel run from multiple angles :)
All the Swift Sports in the UK are 3drs, unlike in Oz.
