my 3rd vehicle and first running truck.
I paid for it, its mine. got it when i was 16 from a guy that drove a benz to and from work every day. And used this to go hunting up north.

Only thing wrong with it was, the tires were dry rotted.

it had a 5.0 302 with a aod-e tranny and a 8.8 rearend.
Still has that but im on my second transmission, working on my 3rd torque converter. Gotta change that this next weekend.

Its been a darn good truck, it will take me anywhere i want it to go and then some, PRetty quick aswell. Got it all the way up to the shutdown point a few times.

Nothing really exciting for the stereo system. Just a cheap deck (my pioneer died) and pioneer 3 ways up front and 4 ways int he rear.
Bucket seats.

Future plans
347 stroker kit (maybe a turbo)
9" rear end
zf 5 speed manual tranny
Havent decided whether i wanna drop it and bag it or make it into a pre-runner.
19-20" wheels

Now that is a truck...and it does everything it is supposed to do.

I would turn it into a pre-runner and keep having fun with it. When you want something low and fast, buy a car. :thumb:

well she did. i went up to the mountains and ended up towing a buddys 1ton diesel dually off the trials back to town, and my TC chit the next day.

So im in the process of dropping it this weekend.

BTw its 11* F here right now with an inch of snow...its gonna be a slow process.

welp, im in college a 1000 miles from home, i graduate in december. and my truck just chit out on me! been a good truck, but i cant afford to fix it. A lot of memorys in it, some bad.
Im not gonna miss the 8 mpg. Used to pride myself on the fact that i still had my first vehicle and nobody i knew still had there first vehicle, all wrecked.

But i just cant afford a transmission, i dont have the time, tools, to be doing it anyways. ON the side of the road with a cheap set of tools in 11* weather and a inch of snow. isnt cutting it, ill admit ive done some things here and there, but a transmission is pretty time consuming, not hard, just time consumer without the right tools.

So im looking at 92 escort..yea....iono tho, i dont like being without a truck. So im kinda looking for a ranger, or a s10.
I also got about 500.00 worth of tires on the truck now, so kinda wanting a little truck i can stick the tires on, hopefully they got 15" wheels. LOL.

Kinda sad right now,
Anthony

Ps, on a side note, my fiancee' is happy to see it go, was dating a differnt girl when i first got the truck, so she happy to know that its gone.
