Tuned to 12psi. Runs a mid-low 13 in the 1/4. With an ok driver, and not hooking in first and second.

No, they didnt come with the cowl hood. Its there because the car used to run a top mount.
Im not sure if Ill get a factory hood or now.

Ordered an automatic passenger side axle today. So the car can be launched now.
Pricing out forged pistons also... A little nervous about shooting for 20+psi.

So by next spring:
I need/want:

Alky setup
New axles
20+psi calibration
+40's
Better fuel pump
ET Streets

Well see how its going then. And weather or not the F3 cam will be needed.

They're 2.2 T3 K-cars.
5 speed

Mine made about 225whp. With a stage 2 tune, injectors, poly bushings and just a test pipe. Should have been right around 14psi.
Which is what they claimed the factory made. But a 17 year old car shows its age. lol
Ill get another R/T once the Omni is done.

Well. The Omni is going to a new home today.
I took it out for one last drive. Had to be extra careful driving to the highway, cause the roads are crazy here from the snow.
Layed into it on the highway a few times.
Im gonna miss the hell outta this thing. I got on it in 3rd going about 45mph on the entrance ramp, and they spun into 4th. lol. I must have been doing about 20mph faster then traffic, so 85-90mph.
Some guy told me it sounded like an STi at a gas station, and asked me to roll into it when I left, I tried to, but the cold road made the tires crack at about 3000rpms, so I just pounded it then and threw it into 2nd, and gave him a nice backfire after I hit the fuel cutoff a couple times.

I just need to make room for the other cars.
Selling the Mustang too.
By mid summer, Ill have 3 rx7s, and maybe another Omni. A Shelby this time though.


Anyway. Bye Bye Omni. You will be missed :(

Sounds like a lot for a car with a cracked piston. But between the trans and computer alone, thats over $1500.
The cylinder will not need resleeving. It just needs a new piston, unless you wanna try driving it without getting into boost. Blow bye doesnt happen until you have had it into boost for a few seconds. So quick 5 second blips wont make a mess. But when I had it out a couple days ago and rolled my foot into it a few times on the highway, it started spitting oil around a bit.
