sooooo whats the deal with all pics needing to be clicked to see normal size... its realllly annoying... i dont know if its image shack that does it automatically or the forum but its really an inconvenience to have to click every single photo in the pic of the day thread just to see it un-distorted...
if thats through the forum, can we change it back? cause i really bypass ppl photos now cause its annoying to have to click each photo.. im not lazy its just... well... annoying

it's an imageshack thing

i hate it
do that many people use imageshack, like every picture has it!!!

it's not an image shack thing.
no it's not changing, although the method might.
hate away!
the reason? some photos are RIDICULOUSLY large and break the screen. I know there's a bunch of us that have huge monitors and resolutions, but the majority of people on here use 1024x768 or 1280x1024. I can increase the minimum width, but it's not going to remove the resize altogether.

ok, 899 width or 899 height. Bigger than either of those, and it'll resize it. (up from 600 and 800 respectively)

well its just dumb that other ppl have to be bothered by something bc some ppl are to retarded to follow a simple rule of any sort
my photos are at most 850x650 with the border.

yes scrolling 2 "s with your mouse and clicking a button is soooo time consuming

I hate scrolling, so I will do anything I can to limit that. Clicking the bar is implemented on all the HUGE sites I'm on, it really helps.

I think the size limit is fine where it is now. Most pictures of mine were right at the previous limit so it still put the bar at the top and the picture looked weird and then you click the bar and the picture looks normal.
I always size all of my pictures for forums to 800x600 or lower. :dunno:

I know I'll be the lonely duck here like I usually am but I prefer scrolling. Oh well it's not a huge deal.

yea i prefer scrolling too... chris if you hate scrolling buya mouse with a wheel lol... its more annoying to have to hover above each photo and click each one when someone posts a thread with 20 photos where as i can just use my wheel n scroll through...
i dunno i think its stupid. not a big deal. which is why i think its stupid. uneeded feature in my eyes.
heres why
someone posts a hi quality photo... it resizes it so you have to click it WHICH is because you dont want to have to scroll around to see the photo. but guess what, once you click it BAM you gotta scroll anyways. its just an extra step.
im in no way bitchin but if you guys find this usefull then you are the ones who are being lazy because you dont wanna scroll..but in the end the photo is still the same size n you have to take an extra step to do so... a larger photo adds what? an extra 3'' at most to a page???
i dunno. its silly... and annoying lol i guess its more along the moral of the feature that annoys me

i gotta agree, it sucks...but whatever, i just dont bother to really look at pictures anymore to avoid it....Having to click on multiple things is time consuming IMO and i usually prefer to save time whenever possible when it comes to things i do daily...But thats just me.
I hate scrolling too...but theres a point where i become neutral on the matter...If its to view photos then i dont mind cause like most people i like to see photos as large as possible....But if it have to scroll to finish reading posts or whatever, due to an ad or image which is on every single page (Even ones without large photos) then its gets annoying....

i feel that a mouse wheel is made for scrolling, so i dont have a problem doing it

I'm currently looking into a way to turn this feature off in your options. I still love it.

I like it, but I think the size should be bigger.... say anything larger than 1024x768 is resized :)

aww thats cute. whats it gonna be when it grows up? lol
being the OP of this thread i must say i actually like this feature NOW that it is larger then it was when it was first introduced. if its more then like 950x950it should be resized

SO CUTE!!!
It's common internet etiquette that you don't break the tables of the forum when you post a picture, sadly some people cant grasp that concept so i'm all for the automatic re sizer. I'm actually on a couple forums that you can get banned for breaking the tables repeatedly

No we only get banned here if we break one of the teak tables.
