:thumb: Let's get some WarHawk servers going.. This is probably the best battle game I've ever played. COD4 is good, but not as much FUN as WarHawk IMO. They've just updated to version 1.3 and Operation Broken Mirror is out on the 17th :dancingna

Version 1.3 is pretty solid. There are slight dynamic changes and of course, there's the new mechanics wrench and the biofield generator. I also like the option of creating a 'home' game on the Local side without requiring a connection to another PS3.. let me hone some new techniques that I was trying out with out worrying about anyone popping their heads in on the server and killing me mid experiment!

I would recommend using your headset. With the new update brings server speak so you can trash talk (there only used to push to talk and only your team could hear you), or in your case we can give you pointers. I'm certainly not the best player but I will make you earn killing me.

We will start a server it should be called hyperspec. It will a island battle map, L3it3r says there are buddy slot options. i've never made a server with the intent of having people join so i will figure it out to. I think im going to go get on right now and start figuring it all out.

Operation: Broken Mirror brought with it a RIDICULOUS truck and one of the most confusingly HUGE maps I've ever played in ANY game.

HOWEVER, in an entirely disappointing move from Icognito, they've removed the option for 'unlimited' point matches, so if in the 30 minute match, someone/team gets 300 points, the game suddenly ends.. NOT A FAN.

What do yall think of the jet pack? I was a little worried about how useful it was going to be, but as usual it balances out really well. Def gives a new depth to ground combat.

Also, I seen ya knife me the other night Z- again. Nice having the LOKI coming in 1st and 2nd, on someone else's server. That always pisses em off. Me and L3it3r usually get kicked off 1 or more servers everytime we play.

Deathmatch is where I feel the most at home. I keep trying to do the CTF or other modes but since the main goal of those modes is not to lay waste to everything that moves. I do not do so well.

The biggest prob were gonna have playing you is the timezone difference. Linken played with us for a while and when it was 2-3 in the morning for him while it was only early evening over here.

We played on the server for about 30-45 minutes and then proceeded to takeover someone's server without remorse. At one point it was hyperspec and me in a server with about 8 people at #1 and #2 each with well over 25-30 points, and #3 only had 2...

We have this strange tendency to upset the 'grade curve'

I did the same thing way back in the day when "Virtual World" was around. My buddy Brian was pretty badass at the game and had way more time & money than I did to throw at it. He had about 10,000 games played when I was barely creeping up to 1000. While he was way farther along in the game/s then I was, I still had my days with him. lol And I could pretty much kick most people's butts with 5x's as many games played as me.

It will most likely be a TDM or DM, you can set your filters to TDM and scan the available servers for the loki tag, if nothing set filter to DM and do the same.

Warhawk Server will be on either Main Base (DM) or Grinder (DM)

If you don't have the Vaporfield Glacier Addon, you won't be able to play the grinder match.

Yeah...my son had a "Variety Show" he participated in at his high school. My original plan was go to in, watch his act, then come back. They thwarted my plans right off. As soo as the lights dimmed in the theater an announcement was made saying that nobody was leaving til after the last act, unless it's a dire emergency. :( That sucked!! lol

Yes. I think I might make it mandatory to have a headset. A usb head set works too, but I really enjoy it more when you can talk to the people you're playing.

So far to my knowledge its only one per account but I've never tried to have both 1st and second player with headset.

I don't think it will work though because you can only have one headset sync'd to the ps3 at a time.
