2007 was another wild year for all of us! This message board once again had it's name changed. We started by having our own Teckademics section on the DTMpower.net forum in 2003, then we got the boot. TDC came up with the Ricers-R-us forum which became our temporary home. In 2004 TeckademicsEast.com was up and running. TeckEast was then changed to Mischief.tv this past summer right before I left Teckademics. I feel now that calling our site Mischief.tv cuts down on all of the confusion. And I think the name kicks ass! Mischief TV FTW!
2007 was another nightmare year for our Mischief vehicles. Dado once again had countless problems with his M3. Daniel hit a deer with his MR2 and messed up the whole front end. Perdue and Jeff's Skylines are blown up (yeah, not my favorite car anymore). Rachel's Lotus was totaled in a transporting accident. We are hoping to get all our cars back on the road next spring and throw a welcome back party for them.

JANUARY
Detroit Auto Show

We start the year right by attending the North American International Auto Show. Japan brought out a bunch of high performance concepts including the Lexus LF-A, the Toyota FT-HA Concept, the Acura Advanced Sports Concept, Mitsubish Evo-X concept, and the Lexus IS-F. A couple of them could be some stiff competition for the upcoming 2009 Nissan GTR.

2 Florida Exotic Car Shows

We get on MTV2
MTV2 starts playing Mischief clips during the Rock Block. After over a year of negotiating with MTV, we are finally getting some airtime. The next step was to put together a TV show pilot.

MTV sucks
MTV fires over 250 top employees at MTV2 including producers and directors. They supposedly do this every five years to bring in fresh new talent. Luckily our executive producer worked for MTV. But our show is put on standby.

Mischief Assault Release Party

When we get back to our hotel, our limo driver overcharges me by $200. He knows that I was wasted. The next day I find out that after our limo dropped us off, the driver was beaten and robbed while gassing up in College Park, MD. It was even on the news!
Nopi Drift in AZ

It seemed like a good idea at the time...drive Dado's unregistered tractor trailer from MD across the country to AZ. And it was to be driven by a person with no CDL license. What could possibly go wrong? Everything! It was the first time I didn't shower 5 days in a row. If you haven't seen it yet, check out the 2 videos of our adventure. Dado ends up placing 5th at Nopi Drift.

MTV deal dies
Our executive producer at MTV quits to work for another network. All projects under him get automatically canceled. Our relationship with MTV offically ends.

Joy Ride Rally

We get invited to participate in the Joy Ride Rally - Santa Monica, CA to New Orleans, LA. Dado can't make it so Deepak becomes my driver. Prova4re and John take a dark silver Murci. Our photographer Richard becomes our "Rally Bitch". Prova4re and I end up in the only car that finished the rally in New Orleans.

MAY
Gumball fatality
We were sad to hear that someone was fatally injured as a result of an accident that occurred on the Gumball 3000 rally. This year we did not do this run. I'm personally surprised that this hasn't happened before, It might look fun in our movies but the high speeds and lack of sleep makes a recipe for a dangerous rally.

Ocean City Car Show

Once again we sponsor this great car show at the beach. We get a nice suite with party deck/jacuzzi at the Holiday Inn. The second night there, we get thrown out because we have a party on our deck. Duh! That's why we got the room.

Navigator's Run

Once again, I drive Deepak's Porsche across the country for the start of another rally. This time I drove from DC to Kansas City for the start of the Navigator's Run rally. Dado once again can't make it out because of work. Deepak, John E., and Prova4re fly in. We get there a couple days early to relax and party. When only 3 cars showed up the day before the start, we started to worry that the rally would be canceled. The day of the rally, there were only about 10 cars total. John's Murci was the only exotic besides Deepak's Porsche. When it was announced that the $50,000 grand prize had been canceled, everyone walked out of the rally.

JULY
Candy Run Canceled
(Mischief Characters: Dustin, Deepak, Prova4re, along with Evil John)
We decide not to go on the Great American Run because of 2 reasons. 1, we couldn't get rights to film it and 2, we were planed on covering the Candy Run in Europe instead. I was so damn excited about this run to 5 strip clubs across Europe! One of the stops was a day at the Nurburgring in Germany. The object of the rally was to win combination codes that would hopefully open a safe containing about $40,000US at the end of the rally! You would also get a sealed envelope containing a combination code after a lap dance at each of the strip clubs. How cool is that! We were also planning on renting a couple cars. Of course this run was canceled but luckily before we bought our plane tickets. It was never made public why the run was canceled. We believe it's because Germany no longer allows rallies to drive through their country after the Gumball went through earlier in the year. 2 of the stops on the Candy Run were in Germany.

After the Gumball incident happened and the Navigator's Run and Candy Run being canceled, we thought this might be the end of these high end rallies. Nope. The mighty Gumball will be around next year. Rumor route is NYC to Tokyo with a stop in North Korea. Smart.

Woodward Dream Cruise

I leave Teckademics
The hardest thing that I had ever had to do in my life was to announce my resignation from Teckademics. A company that I helped build from the ground up. The Mischief crew felt that it was long overdue and supported my decision. Unfortunately, I made the announcement right before boarding a plane and flying to Calgary Canada for the start of the Players Run rally. I couldn't get onto a computer for a couple days and our forum went to crazy. Forum members were just getting use to the board being changed over to Mischief.tv then this had to happen. It's caused confusion and a couple people left the board. I guess some people can't handle change.
Players Run 2007

We never really talked about the PR07. It won't be featured until Mischief 8, but it will be worth the wait as we have some great footage. Markus (organizer of the Players Run) had another great event this year, and it should be the main focus of the 2nd dvd coming out in the 2nd half of 2008. Of course its all shot in HD. The rally started in Calgary and ended up in San Diego. Since Deepak couldn't make this run, I tagged along with my friend Rami and we took his multicolored Ferrari 360. John E. traded in his dark silver Murci for a yellow one over the summer. Prova4re sticked up the Murci and made it look like a taxi cab. While in Calgary, we parked the Lambo in the taxi line at our hotel. Someone took a pic of it and it circulated the internet like wildfire. Too bad you can barely see "Mischief" on the windshield. 48hrs in Orlando

Perdue and I flew to Orando, broke our rental car, checked out the Performance Racing Industry show, raced around with a Carrera GT, and destroyed a Toyota Camry (provided by Ed) by dropping a Porsche engine on it - all in 48hrs.

MTV deal dies
Our executive producer at MTV quits to work for another network. All projects under him get automatically canceled. Our relationship with MTV offically ends.

Joy Ride Rally
(Mischief Characters: Dustin, Deepak, Prova4re,

We get invited to participate in the Joy Ride Rally - Santa Monica, CA to New Orleans, LA. Dado can't make it so Deepak becomes my driver. Prova4re and John take a dark silver Murci. Our photographer Richard becomes our "Rally Bitch". Prova4re and I end up in the only car that finished the rally in New Orleans.

MAY
Gumball fatality
We were sad to hear that someone was fatally injured as a result of an accident that occurred on the Gumball 3000 rally. This year we did not do this run. I'm personally surprised that this hasn't happened before, It might look fun in our movies but the high speeds and lack of sleep makes a recipe for a dangerous rally.

Ocean City Car Show

Once again we sponsor this great car show at the beach. We get a nice suite with party deck/jacuzzi at the Holiday Inn. The second night there, we get thrown out because we have a party on our deck. Duh! That's why we got the room.

Navigator's Run
(Mischief Characters: Dustin, Deepak, Prova4re, along with John E. and Ashley Van Dyke)
Once again, I drive Deepak's Porsche across the country for the start of another rally. This time I drove from DC to Kansas City for the start of the Navigator's Run rally. Dado once again can't make it out because of work. Deepak, John E., and Prova4re fly in. We get there a couple days early to relax and party. When only 3 cars showed up the day before the start, we started to worry that the rally would be canceled. The day of the rally, there were only about 10 cars total. John's Murci was the only exotic besides Deepak's Porsche. When it was announced that the $50,000 grand prize had been canceled, everyone walked out of the rally.

JULY
Candy Run Canceled
(Mischief Characters: Dustin, Deepak, Prova4re, along with Evil John)
We decide not to go on the Great American Run because of 2 reasons. 1, we couldn't get rights to film it and 2, we were planed on covering the Candy Run in Europe instead. I was so damn excited about this run to 5 strip clubs across Europe! One of the stops was a day at the Nurburgring in Germany. The object of the rally was to win combination codes that would hopefully open a safe containing about $40,000US at the end of the rally! You would also get a sealed envelope containing a combination code after a lap dance at each of the strip clubs. How cool is that! We were also planning on renting a couple cars. Of course this run was canceled but luckily before we bought our plane tickets. It was never made public why the run was canceled. We believe it's because Germany no longer allows rallies to drive through their country after the Gumball went through earlier in the year. 2 of the stops on the Candy Run were in Germany.

After the Gumball incident happened and the Navigator's Run and Candy Run being canceled, we thought this might be the end of these high end rallies. Nope. The mighty Gumball will be around next year. Rumor route is NYC to Tokyo with a stop in North Korea. Smart.

Funk Flex Car Show in Ocean City, Md.

Woodward Dream Cruise

The Mischief crew goes to Detroit to cover the Woodward Cruise and turn out is disappointing. Rally Bitch flies in to take photos. Audrey and Dr. Gray were too busy to come out and play. We did do a little drive with Mischief.tv forum members but nothing like it use to be.

I leave Teckademics
The hardest thing that I had ever had to do in my life was to announce my resignation from Teckademics. A company that I helped build from the ground up. The Mischief crew felt that it was long overdue and supported my decision. Unfortunately, I made the announcement right before boarding a plane and flying to Calgary Canada for the start of the Players Run rally. I couldn't get onto a computer for a couple days and our forum went to crazy. Forum members were just getting use to the board being changed over to Mischief.tv then this had to happen. It's caused confusion and a couple people left the board. I guess some people can't handle change.
Players Run 2007

We never really talked about the PR07. It won't be featured until Mischief 8, but it will be worth the wait as we have some great footage. Markus (organizer of the Players Run) had another great event this year, and it should be the main focus of the 2nd dvd coming out in the 2nd half of 2008. Of course its all shot in HD. The rally started in Calgary and ended up in San Diego. Since Deepak couldn't make this run, I tagged along with my friend Rami and we took his multicolored Ferrari 360. John E. traded in his dark silver Murci for a yellow one over the summer. Prova4re sticked up the Murci and made it look like a taxi cab. While in Calgary, we parked the Lambo in the taxi line at our hotel. Someone took a pic of it and it circulated the internet like wildfire. Too bad you can barely see "Mischief" on the windshield. Loki is born
We have a Mischief.tv logo contest. It's won by Chris-James. He came up with our new font. The original designer of Loki was Levon Derkrikorian. Chris-James and TDC tweaked it. Here were some design ideas:

Sema

We filmed Sema a little different this year. Deepak and I were more in front of the camera. There are 3 videos that cover this year's show in the Mischief Alliance section. Mischief Meet

48hrs in Orlando

Perdue and I flew to Orando, broke our rental car, checked out the Performance Racing Industry show, raced around with a Carrera GT, and destroyed a Toyota Camry (provided by Ed) by dropping a Porsche engine on it - all in 48hrs.
