yeah there aren't too many around. i'm pretty sure im the only one in the area who has a turbo corolla of my model style of 93-97 yrs. i hope to have everything in in about 4 weeks. i'll post pics up when its done. it should catch alot of ppl of guard since no one has ever seen 1.

I know that during the Invasion Premiere somebody made a few calls and we got the parking lot at the end of FedEx Field where everybody met up at. While that spot was definitely large enough, any chance of a convoy is going to be shattered once we get to the intersection with 202 where the traffic will break it up into pieces. Then everybody is going to be playing catch up like last time and we will end up having a repeat of the stupid stuff that happened on the way to Invasion.

We need to meet somewhere that has a direct exit to the Beltway and no traffic lights in between to break up the pack.

Tried to edit my last message to include this, but the edit timer went off and I couldn't do it.

Edit: I thought of a place that is on the way and has direct access to the Beltway. We will be using it during the weekend, so we won't need to sit for 2 hours waiting for the traffic to die off like we did going to the Invasion premiere at MIR. We used this spot for a Subaru meet back in the winter. Its the weigh station/park and ride at the 95/495 split in College Park. Since its the weekend, if the park and ride overflows people can park by the scales or on the shoulders since nobody will be using the ramps going on and off b/c the weigh station will probably be closed. It has direct, no traffic light access to the Beltway, and the way the ramp is designed there is a 1 mile buffer area between us and the traffic on the Beltway so that everybody can get in one line and merge at speed (hopefully, theres going to probably be a little bit of a backup merging w/ the main traffic on the Beltway due to the traffic from Rt. 1 coming into the convoy and the idiots that won't get out of the right lane after seeing a convoy for the last mile trying to line up to merge on to 95 in one pack).

I have a few buddy's and I that are meeting at tysons (2?) on the top level by macy's on sunday morning. There's goings to be about 10 of us, and its its right off 495. We should all meet there and have a huge cruise up MIR. I can arrange for DragVA people to meet up there if you all are down.

I pulled the engine on mine as well and will be bored, stroked and balanced with all forged internals when I get the money. I have a T88 Sitting in my grauge as of now.
