GTG ideas for us few CO people [Archive]

So the four of us have vehicles that can go offroad. I personally have never been offroading before and can't afford to mess up my jeep before winter. However if we can go someplace where it would be next to impossible to screw up my ride I am so down for an offroading gtg for the big national gtg. Any ideas? Costi I know you have quite a few links with places to go any suggestions? I should also warn you that my jeep is a manual transmission and I am completely new to that. :)

Yeah.. my Jeep is more luxury than off-road right now. I'm not sure I want to test it just yet. It's too new for me. Haha.

Anyway, there's got to be a few places that we could go. However, I have absolutely no idea.

One fun thing, if its in November: SNOW!

Dude I didn't know you were from CO, I live in Brighton, Jared lives in Golden and Cotsi lives in Fort Collins, so probably a Denver area meet would be the best idea I think. And I can't make a meet that starts before 2 cause thats when I get off work and I can't afford to take any more days off. Is that going to be cool with everyone? Also just as a thought we could meet at the mall in Golden they got a cool arcade, bowling alley, pool hall restaurant thingy. Ideas? Thought?

im down for whatever, off roading, denver meet. either way its cool. im in boulder (obviously) so fort collins or denver are no problem.

I have the PERFECT place to off road if everyone wants to go...even with snow it an easy trail its 7 mile trail. Its up by fort collins but it be TONS of fun. I cant drive my jeep on the highway...its gearing makes it a bitch! But i could probly bring my impalla ss.

Sounds like a good option do you have a link to the place? If not do you have more info? It sounds like as long as we go somewhere where Jared and i cant screw up our rides were down for offroad. But im also open to other ideas depending on where we meet will determine the car i bring

oh i repainted my bumpers and my friend put new pinstripes on the jeep today to cover the shitty factory red and white...pics tomorrow

That looks like a ton of fun seriously, what do the rest of you guys think? Jared I don't think we would have any issues with our vehicles going offroad on that course. Thoughts? Suggestions for other meetings if you don't like the ones already suggested?

OKay guys we have a slight issue which was just brought to my attention I can't meet until after 2 cause thats when I get off work so if we went to Fort Collins for this meet it might be a bit difficult to run the trail in the dark. Are there any closer areas we might be able to hit up?

not unless you want body damage. The only other one that ive ran is carnage in boulder. I BARELY made it through that one. and i got a some rock rash on my rims.

well offroading is out...the trails are closed for the most part....

im down to get wasted anywhere...as long as its not a bar lol[paranoid]

Well what about going to that place in Golden at the mall? I have also heard Dave and Busters is cool, but never been there and have no real idea where its at or what it is. I figured Golden would be a good center location for everyone except you Wade and Jared (cause he lives in Golden) And I was thinking of meeting at 3 whereever we decide. Sound good? Ideas, suggestions? We are getting close to the date. Oh and Wade if you wanted you could swing by my house and then we could cruise down to Golden together, I think my brother (vengence) might be coming as well. If he ever gets full access I'll have him post here as well.
