Asking For Your Prayers.

This last Saturday my dad and I went on a motorcycle ride 3 hrs away from home. On the way home we were traveling South on highway 22 when a deer jumped out in the middle of the road. To make a long story short we struck the deer @ 60mph. I was on the back wearing just a t-shirt and shorts, my dad was wearing pants and a polo shirt. It was the first time ever that he didn't wear his leather jacket.

We ended up totaling the motorcycle (it was a 2000 Honda 1500cc aka a 00 Honda Valykerie sp?) it was my dads pride and joy but thats nothing compared to what happened. I ended up with road rash all over my right side of my body excluding my head. I lost my pinky nail all the way down to the matrix on my left hand. My dad was't so lucky, he too the brunt of the fall for me. He ended up with a collapsed lung, 4 broken ribs, a dislocated shoulder, and a broken Scampula (sp?) He is doing ok, but is in major pain I am just wanting you guys to keep him in your prayers for me please.

Its turned out that my internet friends have been more supportive then my real friends (besides my sister, mom and her friends and my gf) I would type out what happened in more detail but I only have 2 fingers that aren't bandaged up.

Its all good, I don't know any of you lol only Ryan and thats only from 2 conversations. But thanks, it just sucks cause my so-called friends are all too busy hanging out playing video games and what not to even see how I am doing. When people I talk to the internet are calling me when they live in Nova Scotia, Canada to see how I am doing and cheering me up.

Thats the hardest thing that I am going through is being cheered up, that and typing on the net lol with only 2 fingers it takes forever to type one word.

Wow, that really sucks man, I'm very sorry about this. I have a friend that just did almost the exact same thing. The only difference was that he was going about 90MPH when he hit the deer, and then 2 cars ran him over. He's still in ICU unit, with about every bone in his body crushed. He's still in a coma, but the doc's think he'll come out of it.

Cuurent update

My dad is pulling through he's been calling me from the hospital daily but he is heavily drugged up. He broke ribs 1-5, a broken scampula, a broken cavlica (sp? all these are a bitch to spell) road rash down to the meat, and a punctored lung.

It sucks for him and my mom cause in 3 weeks they were going to go to Hawaii but the doctor said that my dad can't get in salt water, or see the sun for 6 months cause of the road rash.

He's in a good mood, about riding a bike again we both want to but the wife/mom won't let us get a new motorcycle in fear of it happening again. I told him we should get a Supra and he had a smirk on his face heh. Right before we left I told him how I was going to slap teck stickers all over our helmets and he laughed so he asked me if I was still going to do it and I told him hell yeah. So he's in good spirits, thank you all for the prayers it means so much to me and him once I show him this when he gets home. Thanks guys!

He's already back to yelling @ me lol. He hates it when I have his car out of the garage for hours at a time. I was working on my car in the garage and had both his car and my moms car outside and he was freaking out getting all pissy lol.
