Pittsburgh checkin in
My car is up on ebay now selling it and planning to buy either an 93-95 rx7 tt or a mk4 supra na (to be turned into na-t)
If anyone near pittsburgh (like 400 miles near) has one of these vehicles for sale let me know - my price range for an unmodded rx7 or supra is about 10g - but I will pay up to 20g depending on mods.

I know of a silver/black leather 20K(ish) single turbo upgraded 93 RX-7 near Atlantic City...it is at a dealership that sells "exotic" cars. No fun there, but I think they are looking for about $20K for it. I can get you the number. My freind is looking into it. He is prolly going to turn it down in favor of a 350Z with a Greddy TT kit instead. :down:

pittsburgh here, i have a 1995 stock eclipse i bought off of someone in MD for 500. It runs great but its not a turbo like i want. Any going to teck events at MIR soon, or Hot import nights

it is a 2nd gen. yea the person who had it before me said the engine was bad but i took it for a test drive and even no i am not a mechanic i knew it was ok. So i pay the man 500 and drove the car 400+ mile back to PA. (Yea the engine was bad) I got it back in PA and gave the car a really good tune up. cost me about another 200+ and it runs great now. except never run bosch spark plugs in an eclipse because you will never pass emissions and your car will bog out at low Rpm's. It Has some Racing seats in it and so pretty cool Dask Vynil in it. it had 2 dents but i had those fixed and the front of the car repainted and it looks brand new.

15 sadly but i want to get my car now i can drive an auto perfectly i want to get good a manual although i dont think it should b much harder that way when i get my license i can get right into practicing drifting

all the drift cars i have seen besides pros all have dents and dings. Not DD cars
Yar...do not use your DD to drift, espicially since it will be your first car and your only car.

He is right, mang. Just get something cheap like a S13 or an early 90's 325 and learn to drive it. Attend some autocross events and learn what RWD cars are all about. Then, if you want to try drifting, go to the Hyper Drift contests and see what they are about. But, by all means, listen to people and what they have to say about driving and learning driving skills. Most of what you hear on web boards is shit. But, at the autocross/drift event, the people can drive show up and those who can't get embarassed and go home. Yes, as your first car, you will wreck it. It is inevitable. And a RWD car is easier to wreck than a FWD car (oversteer vs. understeer). Just don't practice on the streets or in parking lots (unless it is an event..that is...). That is my advice.

how will my insurence go up im not gonna go to a body shop to get stuff fixed and if somthin that bad happens ill take it to skool and have my friend fix it during shop... i dont have any other options really and if i crash it that bad then damn o well i guess thats all i have to say really... the car im gettin gis goin to b my daily driver and my drift car cant change my mind
Ya don't have to drift. Driving is fun in itself.

hey everyone. this is my first introduction and post on TE. I am a huge fan of the Teckademics movement. I am from Carlisle PA, but currently depolyed. I dont really have a life right now but in my free time I drift the fuck out of my RC car. (its the only car I can afford ,for its power to weight ratio)

Some hate it some like it. I dont really care. its my car and everything on it is paid for. I am an enthusiast of all cars stock or modded.
Welcome yo! I like your attitude about cars. Too many people nowadays forget what cars are really about and it makes me glad to see a true enthusiast.

no , I dont care for X-Mods, they are too slow for me. My car tops out at 55mph
My friend got me an X-Mod. I think they are stupid. The batteries need to be recharged after 10 minutes and if your using alkalines they drain out in like 6.
