anyone who knows me, knows how much i love my car and knows how hard this is for me. i've owned the car about 1 and 1/2 years and baby it to death. It has never been to the track. and never raced from a launch (ie, raced from a roll on the highway VERY rarely).

The car is in *MINT* condition. Anyone who has seen my car in person can attest to this. the paint is in EXCELLENT condition. It looks like it's brand new. The engine bay is CLEAN. The interior is near MINT. the drivers side seat has no tears, rips, worn spots, etc in the leather.

there is one chip above the front wheel well on the passenger side, and a few very minor scratches along the rear bumper from a parking attendant that didn't know how to do his job (hardly noticable, but as i said, i'm VERY VERY picky about my car, and i know every inch of it and the slightest blemish annoys me) there is also a SMALL dent on the rear quarter panel on the drivers side. it's ONLY noticable in the side-view mirror when the light hits it just right... it annoys the ever living sh*t outta me, but it's probably no bigger than a pea. the under-side of the front bumper is scratched up from a bad bottom'ing out i had the first summer i owned the car. it is not noticable unless you are laying under the car looking up at it. the paint around the area is not peeling/flaking/etc. the flaws i pointed out, are not really noticable at all. chances are you won't find many others (if any) in this good of condition (unless they've been recently repainted/repaired).

i have a LOT of pictures of my car, the link is at the bottom of this post.

mechanically, the car is in near-excellent condition also. the turbo's spool up quickly, the car pulls hard WOT, it shifts great. the clutch, throw out bearing, timing belt, and water pump will be replaced before the car is sold.

DETAILS:

Pearl White 1995 3000GT Vr-4

electric sunroof (no ECS)

~120,000 miles (i bought the car with 70,000 miles march 30, 2003. most of the miles since then are highway miles on I-684... and for anyone who doesn't know, it's a recently re-paved highway, so, it's great for cruising it also was the highway i took back and forth to school and home two times a week... it's approx a 2 hr drive each way... so, the miles added up quickly)

dark charcoal leather interior

clear corners

MITSUBISHI lettering removed off drivers side of the rear bumper

17" Mille Miglia Spider rims with Pirelli Pzero Nero tires (all weather)

smoked front windows... they're not tinted, but the glass itself has a smoke-tint to it.

new door and rear speakers, kenwood, also the stock tweeters started crackling, so new ones are on the way within the next few days.

polished plenum and valve cover (i may keep these, because chances are i will be buying another 3/S, probably in the spring)

the spark plugs were replaced at the same time the polished stuff was installed along with all new gaskets, etc. (approx 25k miles ago)

the thermostat was replaced about 10k miles ago along with flushing the coolant system.

Greddy Type-S BOV

replaced the stock shift boot with a real leather shift boot off e-bay (dark gray, matches the interior exactly)

bradi slotted rotors

hawk pads (F type?? i forget exactly what they're called) the hawk pads were only installed about 10,000 miles ago.

i can't think of anything else off the top of my head. I'm located in Carmel, NY... 1 hour north of NYC and about 1 and 1/2 - 2 hours south'ish of Albany.

Mechanically and Aesthetically, the car is in BETTER condition than when i bought it (with ~70,000 miles on it March 30, 2003).

price is $14.5k OBO.

That's why there's an O.B.O. right after it. :p

easily. drive 2 hours each way from LI to home twice a week for... oh... 5 months. then, drive to NC and back, PA and back numerous times, a few "friendly visits" down to LI, back and forth to LI at least once a week during the summer for car events. out and about almost every night. 40 min each way to classes 4 days a week since september of this year. back and forth to middletown NY about 4 times a week (1 hr each way, give or take). i drive everywhere. :p

thanks for the replies guys :)

mike - possibly :) i haven't been down there recently, but i had my car on campus with me and i was always driving around.

unfortunately, the only responses i've gotten are "if i had the money, i'd buy it" or "if i lived in america, i'd buy it" or "if i was coming back to america in december as opposed to jan/feb, i'd buy it" :( this is depressing.

i lowered the price to 13.5k and will throw in some extra goodies for 13,750. the car has to go asap :(

the goodies i have aren't installed - boost gauge (nothing fancy, was given to me by a friend 2 summers ago), 450cc injectors, manual boost controller, k&n air filter/adapter, just got a polished oil cap and spark plug cover, have a polished y-pipe in the trunk, blitz turbo timer in the trunk, umm.. an extra set of ebc green front brake pads, uhh... new tweeters on the way...

on the car is greddy type s BOV, mille miglia rims, pirelli pzero nero tires, clear corners, chrome mitsu emblem on front, polished plenum and valve cover, new shift boot, bradi slotted rotors (rears aren't on yet), hawk street type f brake pads (or something like that), all new kenwood speakers (i blew the stock ones out.. :p )

i'll let the car, and all the extras go for $13,500.

i have a few more pictures of the interior also if you want... i'll post those up in a few...

It's hard to sell a car you've taken such good care of, but it's even harder to find a buyer who is willing to pay for it. Best of luck with the sale, I hope someone buys it!

Every car I have listed on Ebay I have sold. Even my Cougar which was a bigger ticket car than I am used to selling($16K). I have never actually sold a car through Ebay, but it is where the eventual buyers saw it advertised. Autotrader is good for nothing. If you don't complete the sale through Ebay, a basic listing is only about $40-/+

I sold my Civic the next day through AutoTrader. I did one of those unlimited ads with all the pictures for $40. It was worth it.
