When is the Teck store going to go live?
also, everything is a red X. Smilies to the right .. all red X's. This just started happening .. oh, a month ago? so all the icons on this message board are RED X's ... this is the only message board I have the problem with.
PS ... picked up European Cannonball Run 2003 last weekend, it's great ... and it's a teck DVD, check it out. I love the documentary style commentary and humor.

no red x's for me, it must be the set up of your browser

I doubt it, this is the only site I have problems with. Even in the teck store, all the links are red X's.

FYI - it is IE 6 SP1 with all recent updates, pay no attention to the 5.01 thing, I did that by accident when trying to make a custom browser. I have tried this on NT/2000 and XP, all IE 6 SP1.
Here is what I get from ANY site from www.teckademicseast.com (like forums) ... everything is red X's ... like I said, been like this for over a month now. I tried it from another computer in the company with a different operating system and I get the same results:

I'm Thinking that your security on IE may be set too high or something of that sort. Try messing with the security settings and than see what happens....

I added teckeast to my trusted sites list and I put my security as low as it will go - no go. Oh well...

I sure do .. all cookies.
Your privacy settings are too high. The site requires that you allow it to view which browser you are using.
Basically it's a firewall setting.
Also, clear out your cache.

Cleared out the cache, deleted all cookies, Privacy is set to ACCEPT ALL COOKIES, Security is set as LOW as it will go, same thing. Any workstation. This is on a Windows NT 4.0 SP6a machine. But I get the same results from Windows 2000 SP4. It worked initially when I first started visiting here then it just stopped.
We have a firebox on the incoming side of our internet traffic, but this is the only site effected, it doesn't make any sense. no software firewalls.

You can do what I do, turn the computer off, get a drink, click your heels three times, turn it back on and hope for the best. Works 50% of the time.

This is a company computer. Happens at work on any/all PC's. Sure, I can turn off the firewall in the server room and get fired :)
You know what ... this site works with Mozilla Firefox ... but doesn't work on any IE 6 SP1 machines in the company. Weird.
if you have a firewall disable it then try it works for me

I have the same problem when I use explorer on my dads computer. My dads a systems admin so his computer has the toughest security. But he went and downloaded Firefox and now the site works fine.
