I finally got one for myself last weekend and I've already got 4 games for it. I was wondering who has one and whether or not they play online with it. I haven't hooked mine up yet but I may do it soon. I'm going to try and download the Gran Turismo demo tonight when I get home from work.
Oh, the games I currently have are Tony Hawk's Project 8, Madden '07, Marvel's Ultimate Alliance and Fight Night round 3.

i havent gotten one yet but i plan to shortly...I still need to get an HDTV first....Im gonna keep my PS2 still cause the backwards compatibility sucks...When your play PS2 games on the PS3 it kills the graphics
I haven't played any of my ps2 games on it yet mainly because I have to buy a memory card adaptor to transfer my saved games from the memory cards. I wasn't going to go out and spend a bunch of money on one but I happened to run into one at my local Wal-Mart late one night and I had the extra money so I figured why not.
Do you know the difference between 1080i and 1080p? My cheap $900 51" projection TV from Wal-Mart is HD ready and 1080i works on it but the 1080p does not.

nah i have no idea what the means but im sure somebody here does...Thats for the lil bit of info though...I would of just went out and bought any HDTV and my luck id prob be the wrong one..
Even on the 1080i I'm still really impressed with the graphics. Oh, and I didn't realize that the ps3 only comes with a/v cables but fortunately I already had the hd monster cables for my ps2 and they worked just fine.

1080i= pixels and resolution is interlaced
1080p= progressive...there fore giving u better crisper images
if u wanna take advantage of true HD...connect ps3 via HDMI...u need to change the settings on the ps3 to work with hd tvs tho...but once u do that...the image is amazing
my boy connected his to the net and played resistance online..says its amazing!!!!! esp with HD... i havent had time to do it yet...but u gotta update ur ps3 first before u can get online
fight night is amazing. i would play you in it but i just got rid of it. got to frustrated with it.
I went ahead and upgraded mine tonight and downloaded Gran Turismo HD and the Resistance demo. I'm not sure if my tv will support a HDMI connector but I'll look into it. The monster cables are doing a pretty good job right now. I haven't tried to play online yet but I'll do it soon.
Oh, and I'm Quarterracer online as well.

I was playing the demo for that game and got my ass kicked. I haven't played a game like that in so long that I'm kinda rusty. I need to go ahead and get it so I can get better at it.

I'll get the game and hopefully be online with it soon. I need to work on it some though. I wouldn't last very long in there right now. lol I just barely made it to the second level on the demo.

all controller haha, im probably gonna try to get a usb keyboard...did u know u can use ur blue tooth headset for online games?? its crazy! and i just Downloaded Gran turismo high definition for free thru PS3 online store!! hit me up bro!
I'm going to have to drag out the 100ft ethernet cable again and try it. I didn't realize you could use a phone's bluetooth headset. That's pretty cool. Will any USB keyboard work?

Are you playing and posting at the same time?
I'm really impressed with the graphics. It didn't take long to unlock the 10 cars and the drift trial is awesome too. I need to play it some more. My times are horrible compared to everyone else online. I think the first time I ran the Cappuchino I placed something like 6267 or something like that.

I'll probably go and pick up the game this weekend or when I take the rented one back. I was on for a little while last night until my cable lost its signal again. I'll try and get back on again tonight.

The game is officially mine now. I'm still pretty low in rank. I think I'm just a Command Sgt. Major right now. I still have a ways to go before I catch up to you. I'm slowly getting better though.

I Just got a PS3 last week i beat Resistance FOM in 1 week played everyday for 5hours or so and GTHD is one of the best looking racing sims I've ever seen. period.
