Looks like that F50 has a silicon valley auto group Plate from Los Gatos. Nice pic. Where was the garage, I would love to take a look. After highschool I worked at a car shop in Emeryville and we had Ferraris and Porsches in all the time. But this one time I came into work, there was a Bugattii EB110 similar to the first pic I posted, a diplomat was driving it around. No camera oh well.

the pic i posted is from silicon valley autogroup. I have seen some verrrry nice cars there:) The garage i saw was located fairly close, i posted a lot of info about it on another forum and the admin was contacted by the owner of the garage and asked to remove the info so to respect him i wont go posting it around on other forums. their is no way to describe that garage though other then heaven.

Damn, I forgot to bring my camera with me today, but on the way to work I saw a McLaren F1! The only time I saw one of these in person was at Bimmerfest East last year at Lime Rock Park, CT. Since I didn't have my camera, I couldn't get a picture, but it looked exactly like this one:

Yes, definitely. I just watched an amazing Top Gear on supercars, old and new. Jaremey Clarkson's favorite Ferrari was the F40 because it's strictly a race car, no carpet, no radio, no door handles, and the paint is so thin that you can see the carbon fiber weave of the body through it. He also liked it because there's no computers trying to keep the car under control, it's just pure raw power with no ABS or any of that safety shit. I like the looks of the F50 the best, but the new Enzo is freakin awesome too. It was originally called the F60, but decided to name it after the creator of the company, Enzo Ferrari.

It irks me that Clarkson's opinion is so highly revered throughout the car community, and many people have no idea how utterly one-sided it is. The man has never owned or daily driven any of the cars he is talking about save a few DC cars and a 355. The F50 also possesses many of the traits you listed the F40 as having: no radio, door handles, and the paint is so thin you can see the weave of the body panels. There are no TCS computers keeping everything under control as in the Enzo, no race programs...the car is extremely loud just like the F40, and is even more of a race car than the F40 -- mostly because (and it's something Clarkson never mentions because it defeats his purpose) the F40 is built on a road car chassis, while the F50 is built on a racecar chassis. Which means the suspension geometry of the F50 is much more purposeful.

Some food for thought -- Clarkson isn't all he's cracked up to be.

Its also funny how he mentioned the f40's time was quickest to 60 at 3.2 when really thats the mclarens time. Their have been things that have happened to him in the past with different car companies, mclaren included, so whenever he speaks about one of their cars he just talks shit about it.

Yeah I mean who cares that its a million-dollar car? I certainly don't. In fact that adds to the lust I have for it, knowing I can never have it. I especially hates when he gets all gitty about Jag or Aston like they are God, even though he mentioned once that Ferrari was, in his opinion, a scaled-down version of God. Oh well.

In my books the F50 takes it, but those 355's and Testorosa's are damn hot aswell!

I wish I had a scanner, we were down at the Darknights nationals' (big car show mostly for tuners) and there was a Ferreri Testorosa and a Ducatti 7?? parked beside it, both yellow. I took note of the license plate on the Ferrari "Hate 2Lz" lol, I then took a pic of it and we carried on. It began pouring at about 4pm so everyone was ducking out early. We were one of the first people to leave, late we were crusing down the 407 expressway and see a Yellow car, and another black car both weaving in and out of traffic racing like there was no tommorow. So we got up to speed so we could maybe stay with them, we were pushing 170km/h in my buds Durango, I got the disposable camera out and snapped a shot. VROOM! the same Testorosa we saw at the show roared by us and was gone over the horizon in no time. The black car we saw racing with it was a Benze, not sure what kind but it was gone out of site before the Ferrari was!

Anyways so back to the topic of hot f'ing exotics.
That very first pic, I have always had a thing for those Bughatti EB110's :Wow1:

1951 Ferrari 212 Ghia

I am also told that we have the oldest road going Ferrari in New Zealand, but am yet to see it, few years older than the Ghia above although that is super rear one of 3(?) with the racing grill, rumoured to be worth more than the Enzo

And being the home of McLaren, I have a photo, and video of a McLaren M12 cruzing round a track, pretty impressive and the grand daughter, and last in line of the McLaren name, going for a ride in the Enzo. Both pretty rare!

The first Ferrari customer car, a Tipo 166MM (thereby the oldest road-going Ferrari) is located in New York, USA. It attended our big event in New Orleans last weekend.

There are also several vintage F-cars in New Orleans worth multiples of an Enzo, even at current market prices of more than $1m USD. I posted some photos of the 1962 330 TRi/LM posted earlier in the thread, which is road-going and is valued between $7m and $11m dollars. You could also count the Breadvan, (also a New Orleans car) valued at over $5m.

Well I do hate to dissapoint, but I think you will find that you are wrong there. It is owned by a private collecter who imported it from the states about 30 years ago, and has owned it since. While the Tipo 166MM is rare it is by no means the oldest road going ferrari and many of them can often been seen in classic shows.

I suggest some research on your behalf will show Im correct :D Just because he owns the first ferrari customer car does not mean he owns the "Oldest road going Ferrari in the world."

Maybe you wouldn't/don't drive them daily, but I know several people who daily drive F40s, F50s, Enzos, vintage Ferrari racecars and Lamborghinis...even when the weather isn't nice out! One of my friends has about 10,000 miles on his Enzo, and put more than 2,000 on it within the first 30 days of ownership! He also has more than 50,000 miles on his F50.

Food for thought!

Yea your right about that, but the Murcielago GT-R has the smaller headlights like the Gallardo does. The regular Murcielago, not the GT-R model, has the fat head lights. Heres another pic of the GT-R from the back

Once again, that is not a Murcielago. That is a Gallardo. The link you gave was bogus. Do a search on "Mucielago GT-R", or "R-GT". Completely different car.

I just telling you what the site says, if its bogus info then thats there fault. I did a search on the GT-R and couldnt come across any pictures of it besides the ones on Supercars.net, so if you got a link to a page with the real one on it id like to check it out.

Also, i got a video that was labeled Murcielago GT-R testing and from the cars on the car in the video, it looks the same but ill have to check it out again. If anybody wants to see that video ill post it up if i can find it

Yea the picture of the one you posted looks nothing like the one they show on Supercars.net, maybe that was a concept picture or something cause they seem to be pretty legit with there info and for them to be wrong is pretty amazing. There both sweet rides though, id take either one. If i can get that video uploaded ill post it up, did a search and couldnt find it posted before
