How long does it take to get accepted? This is the only part of the forum I can post in. Was just curious.

Probation Period

All new registered members must go through a probation period. This is necessary due to the large number of spammers and haters this forum receives. Just post away within this section and the moderators will eventually verify you so that you can post elsewhere in the forum. Although we would love to be able to just have everyone start posting immediately after registering, the forum and its namesake does have its fair share of envious people and attracts those who would like to disrupt our community.

The Aim of This Forum:

The section was designed to allow people that are new to Teckademics East to ask any basic questions they have about the Teckademics and to introduce themselves to other new members who have the same interest. This forum is usually the first step to get a basic question answered, and you will find that many experienced and knowledgeable Tecks frequent this Forum. Be sure to also check the site's FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section here. (Not done yet)

The rules are simple. Be respectful to each other. In here there is no such thing as a stupid question unless it was posted intentionally to disturb order. Anyone is welcome. Please be reminded to read the Site and Forum Rules carefully to avoid any type of problems.

The "Search" Function

As an aid to help you answer more questions that you may have pertaining to TeckademicsEast or other items, please utilize the search function of the website. All threads and posts since the website's start are kept in the Site's database logs and you will more than likely be able to find an answer to your question much faster than asking for it. The search button is located on the top right corner of your screen under the advertisement banner.

In your intro thread. People asked for pics and info on your ride but you didnt give them. Tell us about yourself, how you found teck etc etc. Start other threads in the intro section about something you wanna talk about, after a while a mod will view your posts, notice whether or not youre an idiot and will approve or disapprove you.

I understand it sucks to have been waiting a week and still not being approved, but trust me it's for a good reason. They have tried a few times without using the approval method, and every single time people would join and spam and flame and it's not something we need. So like what was said before. Go to your intro thread and tell us about yourself and what you like to do and all that, and you'll be verified in no time. I think if you stick around you'll like it here. This is a fun forum and can help pass alot of time lol.

Well, Im not much on the whole E-Thuggin crap, and pretty much get along with everyone, so I guess Id be another good member to just b.s. with and stuff like that. Also be more than willing to sport some teck decals and such on my car. Overall I guess just be a normal decent guy I guess.

I have almost 30 posts already between the two threads I can actually post in. I dont know what else ya want. I just wanted to come to the Teck forum and b.s. with other teck heads, but if Im gonna have to wait in line for a month to do it, Im not gonna.. Thats a bit much just to try to show support to teck.
