I picked this up today thinking that I'd have a fun game to play with my daughter.. it's turned out to be an extremely addictive sim game that is actually rather challenging.. I'd reccomend it to anyone that likes sim style games :thumb: Plus side it was only $18 at BJ's

you had 'tycoon' games in elementary school?! omg.. that was like.. holy shit.. lol, when I was elementary school, NES was still the big thing! I think SNES came out when I was in 4th or 5th grade. Wait, no, my cousin had it the year before I moved.. so in 3rd grade it came out. Then the N64 and PSX came out when I was in middle school. Xbox, GameCube, PS2 came out while I was graduating High School (Junior/Senior year) and going into the Army (got all three in 2001). I remember playing Doom on my x486 50Mhz w/16MB Ram and a 210MB Hdd.. (Packard Bell Legend 10CD, first and last PC I ever got from a store) My first 'gaming pc' was a 8088 with 256kB of RAM, NO Harddrive and a 5.25" floppy. Monochrome graphics. Got a slight upgrade with a 68k motorola based pc (upgrade in terms of games that is) before finally getting a x286 10Mhz  Jesus.. the first PC I got that was over 100MHz was a Pentium. Not Pentium IV or III or even II, just PENTIUM. It had 32MB of RAM!! It was 'blazing fast' could run Windows 95 and had the ability to stream video off a cd! I got a Pentium II shortly after it came out, and then saved up to build a nice P3 machine. I never built 1. I built like 6!! I've probably had 15 computers.. if not more. I've had the following game systems (in no order what so ever) Ones that are bold I still have
NES
Gameboy
ColorGameboy
Commodore 64
Atari
Sega Genesis
Sega CD
Sega Nomad
Sega GameGear
Sega Saturn
Sega DreamCast
SuperNintendo
Nintendo DS
GameboyAdvanceVirtualBoy
Nintendo64
Gamecube
Playstation
Playstation 2
Xbox
And my current PC is a P4 HT 3GHz Extreme (2MB Cache) on an Asus P4c800E deluxe mobo w/1GB RAM, 4 HDDs (120 IDE, 200 IDE, 500 IDE RAID, 500 SATA RAID) 2 DVD Drives (ones a cd-r/dvd and the other is a 'super-dvd burner, burns all formats), 1 external dvd burner/compactflash/sd/memorystick reader, dual monitors, a Radeon x1600 Pro 512MB ATI graphics card, SB Live! Audigy sound card, and Intel 100/1000 NIC card.
CLIFF NOTES: ummm.. ok, anyway, I've had a bunch of hardware, and never played a 'tycoon' game when I was in elementary school
lol, sorry for the memory dump.. haha

Heheh yeah I'm only 18 :ninja:, it was like a petting zoo or a park, I forgot, it was the only fun game for Macs back then. SNES and NES was still the shit when I was in elementary school too, FF3 & Chronotrigger was great and all though NHL games for Sega, Desert Storm, Streets of Rage, DOOM, Wolfenstein, Road Rash, wow, memories :thumb:

Rise of the Triad.. I wish they would remake that like they've done with Doom and Wolf3d
