Import Tuner Challenge = Tokyo Xtreme Racer 4????

I mostly dismissed the Import Tuner game as crap untill I heard a rumor that Ubisoft bought the newest TXR game and named it that. So supposedly its like TXR3. I'm definetly gonna go check the game out now, even though it has lambo doors :nonono2:

Anyone know if this rumor is true?

Import Tuner Challenge (also known as Tokyo Extreme Racer and Shutoku Battle) is a street racing title developed by Genki and being published by Ubisoft. The game lets players customize licensed sport and concept cars using authentic tuner parts and race against rivals on the streets of Tokyo.

This game's got mad customization features, having more than 5 million (whoa!) customization possibilities. After tuning their cars to peak performance, players can race offline against as many as 400 distinct opponents or go online and pit their skills against other players.

Not cheesy at ALL. Bought it today, it is the best racing game ive ever played. Every aspect of the game is so detailed. Gameplay is amazing too. I am playing online right now and it is also quite entertaining.

Very realistic, when you get gauges and what not, you can pick where to mount them and everything. So when you are in cockpit view you can see all of what youve done, including the steering wheel, which you can also change... and since the cars are so detailed, it has the true factory gauges and what not in each car.

Most definately optional .. and the only things on the game that are "ricey" are lambo doors, graphics, and neons.

It's not like NFS where you need certain rice parts to get a good score. Customizing visually is totally optional.

Haha yea, and then on Most Wanted its like YOU GOT A TOKEN FOR A VISUAL PART FROM JUNKMAN .. and all the shit you get is completely hideous.

Im taking videogame design for one of my classes, and my teacher used to work at EA here in Orlando. He said that a lot of the ppl at EA are some of the dumbest people; I also have heard from people who work there that said it sucked.

Maybe you can unlock more, cause TXR is known for having like 125+ cars.

Just incase it wasnt meantioned because I didnt see it written, this is TOkyo Xtreme Racer X, but in american form. It is also the number 2 reason I want an xbox 360 now lol. #1 is Forza Motorsports 2.
