Why can't I receive or check my private messages...and I can't post on other threads..I activated my account(I think) it keeps on telling me this

when i came on not that long ago i had only posted like 3 times before i was verified....but at the same time..a few people that had come on before i did didnt get verified until after i did and they had posted more than my 3 posts by the time i got on the forum

Im not bitching persay, just think its kinda rediculous that when people come to a forum to support teckademics and to post with fellow teck heads, they have to wait weeks to months.. They should be more than happy to welcome fellow teck heads to the site. Esp. considering its the teck heads who make teckademics cool.

I would appriciate it if someone who can send pm's would pm a mod and let them know theres alot of people waiting to be approved. My guess would be they just dont view this part as often.

15 post thing does not exist IMO. I think it has to do more with time or who approves you and when they get around to it. Not 100% certain though.

i was just thinkin, there is alot of ppl who r pretty keen to get onto the rest of this forum (including me). and all being very patient and all, but, wouldnt it be a shitload easier to get rid of the occassional spammer, rather than having to verify every single person who joins up? just a thort anyway.

Yes and no - spammers can be a real pain but it's the ppl who feel the deserve to be approved asap that make me laugh. It may take me a couple more weeks but I'm not gonna complain about it. Just have fun where I can. LOL

I to am going to play the waiting game they teach you that very well in the Army wellmore or less Hurry up and wait ut you still learn to wait and since I am in the desert in Kuwait anyway I have nothing else to do but sit and figure out what car I am going to get next not sure what want to get. But I get to go on leave for Chicago Auto show and that will help me narrow my choices down.
