Dado ran an 11.8 @ 130+mph If I remember correcty, I might need to check my video.. anyway, the fastest honda I've seen was an 8 second, turbo engine with wheels.

I haven't run my car in a 1/4 yet but this summer it ran 8.4's in an 1/8. That's with intake, exhaust, and an 80 shot, on street tires. I'm more of a street racer though. My friends hatch ran 12.6 @114 this summer. But since then he has turned up the boost a little. It's a 92 civic hatch running a B16 with an inline pro head gasket and turbo'd.

hehehe i bought a nice lil 90 accord and put my set up into that since i got a new toy going into the civic built h22a 11.5/1 compression turboed :headbang: so the civic is the slowest on the bored as of now the accord is probley one of the faster ones now hehe
gonna be spring time till i put the new motor into the civic but looking at high 9's and 500+hp money depending. when i get a chance ill post pics up i got 2 jobs now so its kinda hard to post

sounds sweet. I'm going to try and have my motor built by February and then have it turbo'd in march. So if all goes well, I'm looking for 400 atleast at the wheels. But we'll see how it goes. What kind of engine management are you going to use? I'm going to go with AEM b/c the guy that is doing my turbo kit knows the system really well and can tune it for me. He does some awesome work. He's the one that did my friends hatch setup that I was talkling about. His website is turbodave.com.

i currently got a burned p28 on my 2.3 set up and vafc so piggy back was what i have been doing i thought about aem or ems but $1000 aint really my idea of affordable build up. this is budget build up to beat tha shit outta my buddys srt4 hehe

but ya ill probley pick up a aem unit and run laptop im not really a fan of hondata every part to the system is at least $200 and u need like 5 to run it

hehe all custom jsg eng race T manifold, garret t3 oiled external 12#, custom 2.5 piping u can see the intercooler, hks sqv bov
untill i finish the h22 its all sitting on my shelf cuz it wont fit into the accord and i dont really want to rebend the piping to fit and i dont have the time anymore

it was one them canadian SiR preludes with a h23 vtec swap, i bought the car for $350 i was gonna make it look good but after i went to go fix a tiny little rust spot on trear 1/4 and it turned into a 2 foot dent and rust patch i said fuck it and stripped the car, i still got the h23 im tradding my dude the motor to do work on my accord, the head was gracisly donated to the h22 hehe but i dont think its any good i think the heads warped from tthe last owner over heating the motor, so im not gonna chance it

The only Civic I've seen with that much power had a huge turbo. It may have had 700HP, but the turbo lag was rediculous.


ive seen 900 hp civics
and i can gareentee even without the turbo it would run a good mid 11 second 1/4

uve probley seen a b18 turbo with 500hp that would explaint he turbo lag
even a t70 on a h22 boost extremly fast

the aem yellow civic had a h22 init with a t70 but it made like 1000 hp
but that should show u h22 power they dont compare to b series

good traction bars and some drag springs would help out with those numbers

the springs i got on my car when i launch the weight jumps to the back from the launch but then the front end slams to the ground and it launches pretty hard, the civic needs traction bars pretty bad but i cant even find some that will fit with the motor in it

the accord i got 500lb in the rear and 300 up front but it doesnt have to much hp like 230whp
